2011 Age Ranks

Here we go with this year's list of who has the youngest and oldest team. This takes account the age of the starters and backups only, and is also divided up by offense and defense. Steelers offense is ranked 13th youngest, but defensively they have the # 2 oldest defense in the league. Last year the Redskins had the oldest team in the league, but with their roster moves, no longer hold the top spot and moved down to number 5. With the roster moves made by the Ravens, the Ravens are # 13 Overall. The oldest team in the NFL...........

Ravens defense is too old...

I wonder what these numbers would've looked like at the beginning of the off-season.

Lions, that's a surprise. Would've thought they'd be on the opposite side of the spectrum.

Steelers at #3 Isn't a surprise. Yet every one wil call our defense old. Just because of Ray. Well I got news for them, the motivation factor doesn't know age.

As soon as he retires the defense will be too young and inexperienced.

I can already hear one or two personalities saying this exact thing. It will probably be the same people who claim our defense is currently too old to challenge the Steelers.

2nd youngest actually but it is still a scary thought. That they won the Superbowl with so many youthful players and guys injured just goes to show how good their roster is.
