WR Depth Chart

Anquan Boldin and Lee Evans are the clear cut starters. I see Torrey Smith being the #3 WR because of how much the Ravens have invested in him. Personally I'd go with the more NFL ready Tandon Doss as the #3 because he has sticky hands with a good route running and would be a great option alongside Ed Dickson & Anquan Boldin on picking up 3rd down conversions. I'd want to give the nod to Doss but I have a feeling Smith gets it over him.

David Reed will be the return specialist from what I've seen. Too early to tell how good of a WR he will be on the field. Maybe he'll be there on some 3+ WR sets or if the Ravens are in shotgun and go spread.

I don't care if he drops the occasionally ball on short routes if he has the ability to beat defenders down the field and snag those huge gains because those are worth much more. Look at Terrell Owens, he'll probably make it into the hall of fame by being an excellent deep threat despite the fact that he was also plauged with drops during his career.

Reed's issue is said to have happened during the season last year and those guys you mentioned happened during the lockout. It seems that the guys who committed their penalties during last season or before the lockout occurred are having their penalties upheld while the ones that were committed during the lockout are not. Either way these guys are under the microscope more than ever these days so they just have to find a way to keep their noses clean.
