Even though we have a lot of young talent and guys who can be leaders when they leave(Suggs and Rice) I am never ready for the next era after Ray/Reed. I will cry when its all said and done

This is such a dumb question and people seriously need to let it go. Lewis and Reed are HOF/Once in a generation players and simply cannot be replaced. Will their replacements be as good? No. Will they be NFL players and play Ravens football? You betcha.

If it's such a dumb question why'd you take the time to give an obvious answer. People have different points of views, just because you feel one way about it doesn't mean everyone else does.

I say not until our offense is ready to take the next step. There are no players that will ever take either Ray or Ed's spots just like nobody could fill the shoes when Ogden left. I think management will continue to bring in solid defenders and our defense will be solid but guys like the three I mentioned above don't come around too often. I think the new face of the Ravens when these guys step down will be our offense, Joe/Ray/Oher/Boldin.

Why would/should we? They're not going anywhere. Are the Colts ready to move on from the Manning era? Are the Patriots ready to move on from the Brady era? Don't really understand the question. No team is ready to move on from their best players era, especially if they're the face of the franchise and future hall of famers.

As much as this topic is repeated every week, and sometimes multiple times, I think we'll be able to move on as a team. It'll take years before we as fans will recover. It's really depressing to think about, but I think with the young core of players we have, we will move on as a team. There will be a severe drop off at MLB, and at FS, but our CBs and DL are only getting better.

Yes we have other leaders on defense but No at the same time..you never replace a player like Ray Lewis..or Ed Reed

Other good players will take those spots but those guys are special

In my opinion, we'll find quality players to step up. What did we do when Peter Boulware, chris mcallister, john ogden, any ravens legends retire/move on? we stayed consistent. Im not saying the people we've replaced them with are at their level, but we will always find a way to be a good team.
