Sergio.. I Like This Guy. Video Attached.

33 posts in this topic

Sergio came off to me as an idiot when I heard about his accident last year, and his DUI.. but with that said, he seems to have a good personality, and is a great football player, and maybe just a young man who had been misguided in his past .. like I know I was. Anyways, Heres a video of him which made me grow more fond of the guy. I think he has the ability to become a Suggs type player, with his responses, and hopefully with his football skills. Funny guy, good skills, I wish him the best.

great video.

he was the best lb coming out of draft last year. just injuries made him a second round pick. before those he was considered a top 10 pick.

he will be a monster for us. he is a beast and many guys said that he was him that made orakpo that kind of player he was.

he had one year to get in shape in gym and become as strong as it gets. now it´s time to become a nfl defensive superstar. i have no doubt that he will be as good as suggs!!!

Lets hope KingSerg can take it to the next level and get a few sacks this year. Ohh yea, blocking some punts would be nice too!

What else could you ask for... KingSerg's raw talent being tutored by the best linebacker to every play football. The past is in the past, i believe he realizes what his future holds if he puts his hands in the dirt and works hard!

Absolutely thrilled. It's kind of funny, 2 months ago, we were "thin" and "weak" at OLB, and now all of a sudden, Kindle comes back full speed, and Kruger is moved back to OLB, doing better than ever. We went from thin, to stacked at OLB. I think the linebacker factory is back.

So excited for him. You can tell he's taken the steps to mature (deleting his twitter account, better interviews, etc) and just the way he carries himself. Most of his troubles were self-inflicted but he's responded well and I'm glad he's back on the field.

You mean you don't like that he refers to himself as KingSerg on Twitter??? And he needs to strap himself to the bed when he sleeps so he doesn't sleepwalk again...

But overall Kindle has been a beast in the first couple preseason games. I hope he is a guy who is a raven for a long time

It's funny you posted this because I was about to start a topic on him. I just ran across an article on Yahoo about Kindle and I found out a lot of information that I didn't know about him. It's a good read in my opinion. Here is the link: http://sports.yahoo....ns_texas_082411

Seems like a guy whose clearly realized he's made some really stupid mistakes and only wants to work as hard as he can to turn it around. He not only gets to learn heart and motivation from one of the best linebackers ever, he gets to learn power and technique moves by one of the best pass rushing linebackers in the game today. Suggs and Kindle in a pass rushing package sounds terrifying

Thinking JJ will be replaced mid season.

Also, Unrelated, anyone else think Rosburg looks like Voldemort?

I think Kindle and Krugar are going to be mirror images of the counterpart Suggs and Johnson eventually but you will see hints of it this season...

I can live with that, Kruger will never be as good against the run as JJ is. But I dont think JJ ever had Kruger's potential to pass rush.

You are right in the sense that Krugar needs some polishing up.. I do think that Johnson's game is overall is excellent. I have seen some good drop back in coverage from Johnson to the point of interception or almost interception solid over all OLB.

Never is a bold word my friend, Kruger has made huge strides against the run this year.

I was just told by my supposed friend that this team is not getting any younger "old and washed up." I personally think we got a heck of a lot younger specially with Corners and D line... The Players we need to keep regardless of how old they are know the game well enough to play at a high level. Getting others to play at a high level with them.

True it is a bold statement, but JJ is one of the best run 34 OLB run defenders Ive seen with my own eyes. Even with a bum shoulder for half of last year he was holding and sealing the edge.

JJ is good, but I'm just not a big fan of him. He's good in coverage, but as a pass rusher he is average at best. The Ravens need a beast across from Suggs and I think Kindle is the man for the job.

Idk, he's not that great at containing sweeps. Never is a bold word, I'm sure a lot of people said JJ would never be an NFL OLB, but he sure is.

It seemed like he was given less snaps each game.

I have noticed 2 games in a row that he has been getting stood up at the line of scrimmage. , zero push.

Eh, it might be a bit of rust still. I did notice less playtime. He did okay imo. I really wasn't all that impressed with his performance. He did well, but it wasn't anything special.
