"Giant Joe" Flacco If We Beat Roethlisberger's Steelers Out Of The Playoffs?

Yeah, I just came to post that Tom Brady and Peyton Manning do have nicknames, but they're just not as utilized as "Big Ben" (which saves people from garbling his last name). Tom Terrific and "The Sheriff" are their nicknames.

Put some pressure on flacco, and he just simply gets BEAT. And yea yea our O-line stinks, but he needs to come up big and have blitzers pay. This is the year his finally suppose to handle these typical brlitz and have SOME PLAN to successfully win these schemes. So far, its downright pathethic right now. And this is Redskins, Eagles, Chiefs pressuring flacco ( their Ds are abysmal). My question is what is Flacco going to do if his Oline breaks down on him in steelers game and HE has to be the guy that beat the blitzers?

Statistically Flacco is one of the best Quarterbacks in the league against the blitz.

There's a difference between the blitz and an offensive line breaking down. He can't do much about that when he sees 8 or 7 guys in coverage and then BAM there's someone breaking free. Remember that 3 of the O-Line starters (all 3 of them pro bowlers) are not playing right now and haven't played throughout the preseason. The additions of McKinnie, Birk and Yanda are going to change everything.

Flacco's issue is he's a spread offense QB and Cam Cameron wants him to play in a late-timing 2 WR Air Coryell offense.
