Tell the people in VT and CT that it was "overhyped" and see what they say. I'll admit it didn't slam a lot of places as bad as it could have but it certainly did a number of plenty of spots.

As far as my location didn't lose power or cable service which was cool. Personally Isabel was worse for our area in '03 IMO.

Just because it did hit a few places pretty bad doesn't mean it wasn't overhyped.

MD has had 3 fatalities hard to call that over-hyped
Yeah, whenever the President has to sign a declaration stating that an emergency exists in Maryland, that's not over-hyped at all.

I'm glad that everyone overreacted rather than showed up unprepared for the storm. It could've been much, much worse.

I'll take the storm being "lame" and "disappointing" and "overhyped," over thousands of people dead. With all of the flooding and some of the damage done in VA, VT, NC, and NJ, imagine how much worse it could've been if people hadn't been evacuated.

Personally, I'm not talking about our leaders, I applaud them. I'm talking about the media's refusal to honestly portray the storm when it became evident it was weakening.
