Lucky ppl in Downtown. they all are being told to go home. lol
I'm sure all the gov't workers in DC are going to be sent home. Like they need additional days.

Felt like when you try to walk on a plane with really bad turbulence.

Shook the heck out of the high-rises in downtown Baltimore. Everyone had to evacuate and was standing around on the street for a while. Most have gone back into their buildings now, though.

Did I seriously just sleep through an earthquake? What the hell. Are there aftershocks yet?
I did that during the quake a year or two ago. I was awake for this one though. My CD's fell from my shelf onto my floor and the glasses in the cupboard were rattling afterwards. Pretty crazy

I was at my dad's house....we live a few blocks away from a quarry. It kinda felt like blast waves (but now that I think about it it was different from blasting).
USGS says it was a 5.9 that's pretty big for the East Coast.

That's pretty big anywhere lol, just so happens the east coast isn't built for that type of quake!

Wow....that was crazy!! Just had a small little tremor in Baltimore County and I have an office on the Eastern Shore and they felt it too!! I am in MD, right?
Yeah, I was sitting in Evidence class and the whole room began shaking and it lasted a good 20 seconds. Totally crazy!

There is a big fault line running through Maryland, so I'm glad this was just a tremor.

I think I've heard of this before... isn't it from New York to the Carolinas or something?

Wouldn't even know it happened. Everyone would just think the game and atmosphere is electric.

"Aftershocks could go on for days, weeks, months. They’re most likely to be felt in the next 3 or 4 days"

Ya, I woulda been pissed if I missed it. Even though it's terrifying, it's such a weird experience. Never been in one in my life.

I was driving in Bethesda, MD, and I felt absolutely nothing. I guess driving makes a huge difference from standing still. People are freaking out
