Fantasy Help...

5 posts in this topic

I was hesitant at picking because i was prepared to draft for a a 6-point TD draft type system, but was told on draft day it was PPR type system. So its a 12-man PPR system type league, anyway here's the list.

QB: Philip Rivers
RB1:Darren McFadden
RB2:Deangelo Williams
RB3:CJ Spiller
WR1:Greg Jennings
WR2:Santonio Holmes
WR3:Kenny Britt
TE:Vernon Davis
Kicker:Cundiff
Defense:Dallas

Bench:
Sam Bradford
Lee Evans
Thomas Jones
Kansas City (d)
Jared Cook

Not too happy with what i have with my RB's because of injury and possibly playing time. Also i opted for Kenny Britt instead of Baltimore (whom i think will return to elite form this year with solid CB play and better pressure and defensive schemes), solely because i didnt think anyone was picking defense in the 5th round.

I would give your draft an A-. Rivers is as good as you can get fantasy wise. Williams and Mcfadden are hit or miss but both have a lot of potential. Jennings is a solid number 1 guy while Holmes should have a good season with the loss of Edwards and Sanchez maturing as a passer. Davis is the best TE in the league in my opinion. The only problems I see is the fact that Britt is starting over Evans and you're defense. You don't even know who is going to be throwing to Britt and regardless who it is there not going to be too good. Evans on the other hand already has established an on the field connection with good ol Joe. About the defense I recommend trading someone like Jones or Spiller and Dallas for a worse rb and a better Defense. Dallas isn't horrible but their lack of depth in the secondary and lack of play makers on the defense worries me about their fantasy value. Baltimore or (hate to say it) Pittsburgh would be much more viable options.

Thanks for the opinions. Believe you, me I was opting for Baltimore in the later rounds but some guys in the league went defense in earlier rounds so i got stuck with Dallas/Kansas duo so im kind of looking for a decent tandem based around Dallas.

Hillis will be an above average RB this season but may be nowhere near his last season stats as he dropped off toward the end of the season. Julio Jones in my opinion my be a steal along with Tolbert just because solely of playing time. Jones was quoted as "the real deal WR" by Tony Gonzalez and other on ATL. Who else do you have at RB?
