This Forum Lags Sooooo Much Now

I don't know whether it's the server or the new forum has a lot more stuff to load than the old one... but this new one lags soooooo much.

Before I've never had trouble getting on (other than the few epic meltdowns after some games), but this has been rather consistent, and it takes like a few minutes to load the site

Actually, I've found that the board loads much faster now than in previous upgrades.

If you're still having problems with speed, I recommend that you change your theme to the Mobile Skin. You can click Change Theme in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen next to the orange RSS feed icon. We're also lobbying to get the default IP Board skin added as well.

Get 'er done. The forum lags a tiny bit more for me, but this is coming from someone using the plain IP board. I miss that board. It seems like the one that should be the most commonly available. I mean it is the 'IP Board'. The Ravens skin just has to much going on and the mobile doesn't have enough.

PU I agree with you for a different reason, I have had no lags and easy enough to use no server timeouts either.

On my desktop this new forum flies like lightning. On my mobile, its a bit slower and really annoying which really sucks because I was falling in love with visiting the forum on my phone. Not so much anymore.

The mobile skin is slow for you? Or are you talking about the full site being slow on your phone?

On my iPhone, using the mobile skin. It's a bit slower than the old version we had.

It's a lot better since I changed to mobile, but the mobile just doesn't have enough compared to the old one
