Damien Berry. The kid is going to be a good one.

Do you really see him making the roster this year? If the coaches felt that way, wouldn't he have gotten more snaps this preseason? Maybe in a year or two Berry will be able to make an impact somewhere, but I don't think it's going to happen this season.

This thread has really helped me decide who I want as the third running back, I believe Anthony Allen is the clear choice. We can't risk losing him by letting him hit waivers and he's definitely shown more potential than Parmele. Parmele's value on special teams is offset by the new kicking rules and the fact that we have Reed (or maybe, LaQuan Williams?) who are more explosive kick returners.

I don't think he played yesterday because of injury. But I don't see Berry making the team. He's a UDFA on a deep squad and hasn't really shown too much of a difference from the other guys.

I've never been really impressed with Parmele. Cam seems to like him though so chances are it will be him. As others have mentioned maybe we try to trade him before the season and give the job to one of the young guys.

I think it will be Rice,Williams,Allen,Parmele.
Does anyone think James Hardy makes the team?

I seriously doubt it.

Every team has to release or practice squad 37 players in the next 2 weeks. That's 1184 players who will be available... I don't think Jalen Parmele has enough talent to warrant another team giving up a draft pick, given this fact... But I think you're right, I think only AA makes the roster.

Me too. We got Boldin,Evans,Doss,Smith,Reed. Were good at WR. I bet Evans wants him to get a shot though

Allen will be the third back, parmele will be gone, Damien Berry will be on the practice squad. Matt who? Lawrence? He hasn't gotten any carries, has he? He's gone.

Rice, Williams,Allen, Berry (PS)

I don't think he will make the team...but I want him to...that's who I want as our 3rd RB.

Anthony Allen looked fantastic last night. I would love to see him A) against starters, and B ) With Leach blocking for him.

You can add LaQuan Williams to this list - if we keep 6 WRs - and that seals Hardy's fate. He's gone.

Hardy's gone. LaQuan's gonna be tough, he'll get scooped up on the PS, but he's not quite good enough for the 53 man roster.

Every time I hear Hardy's name I recall how close Ozzie was to picking him over Ray Rice...yikes

I like what I've seen out of him, a real tough runner between the tackles. Parmele gets my nod based on veteran experience and (probably) a better grasp of the playbook

this is tough because i think that both Parmele and Allen did great. Parmele is running like a man possessed this preseason but i think that it is a little bit too late for him. Allen...i've been knowing this cat from the ACC days when Tyrod Taylor and my VT Hokies battled his GT Yellow Jackets on the regular. he is a beast! so i will say:

Ray Rice
Ricky Williams
Anthony Allen
