When Do We Wear The Black Jersey's This Year?

Does anyone know what games the Ravens will be wearing the black jerseys this year? Or if we'll be wearing any away jerseys at home? I'm just curious and I haven't heard anything about it yet.

We can only wear them twice a year. Im guessing Thanksgiving and some other Sunday night game.

I hoping for Sunday night football vs the Jets being the first Black Jersey Game, and then Thanksgiving vs the 49ers will be the other. Both good times to show off the Alternates.

I remember last year they had a news page about this but I just cant seem to find one haha. But i was hoping all black against the Jets and 49ers(possibly the Colts if not 1 of those). But I really do think they should change the black to the regular home colors and the purple and black pants for the alternate.

I am actually waiting to see what the jerseys look like when the NFL finally switches over to the next contract with equipment suppliers and all the teams get revamped uniforms.

But as for the current ones... as most have said, the games that make the most sense are home, prime-time games. Sunday Night against the Jets, Thanksgiving against the 49ers.

And also previously mentioned... I love the purple jersey/black pant combination that was debuted last year against the Steelers. I hope to see that make a return this season!

You're right ROH, purple on black looked awesome. I guess like lgcs said, thanksgiving would be a great time to wear them. Wearing them in the Jets game would be pretty cool as well.

I wish it was when are we wearing our purple jerseys...... A Raven is Black. All black is our best look by far it really makes the shoulder crest pop out. Ive thought for a while now maybe we need a bit of an update on the jerseys..... maybe when nike takes over they will?

well mine as well enjoy the black on black cause next year nike said they are changing up all uniforms unless teams purchase rights for nike to use the reebok ones. for some reason I would like to see what nike comes out with before we jump on buying the rights

I don't see how Nike can change all 32 team's jerseys. Reebok does not own the rights unless they actually designed them. The Packers, indy and Bears have been wearing the same design for 30+ years.

With that said I would like to see what they suggest. Something modelled after the Washington Huskies purple and metallic gold would be nice .

No "probably" about it, since these aren't sanctioned NFL uniforms, rather just some fan mockups done when it was first rumored Nike was supplanting Reebok as the jersey provider for the NFL.

My only problem with the black jerseys is that almost every team has an alternate black jersey now, and even worse, the Steelers wear black as their primary home jersey.

If we want to be so different from the Steelers, then why would we want to wear the same jersey as them? Sure, ours looks better in our eyes, but we're the Baltimore [b]Ravens[/b], [i]not[/i] the Baltimore Steelers.
