Dang, I really had high expectations of the guy after his first year with the Chargers. I really thought he was good enough to go to the Hall of Fame. But I guess his head got a little too big for his britches and he decided he had to do even more and be even better, at any costs. This is another sad example of steroids ending/dampening a player's career out before nature takes its course. He was a fellow UMD player too....

That's really rather sad. But clearly he realized over the past 3 years or so that he can't play in this league without steroids so it was worth the risk of getting caught since he would be cut anyway if he didn't play better. It doesn't make it right but I can certainly see why he would do it.
