anyone else find it odd that phelps decided to watch a browns/steelers game in person before he goes to a ravens game?? if he is such a ravens fan then why even waste your time going to this game?? not to mention hes in braylon edwards' personal suite.

yes, he's a Raven fan at heart, but he's also good friends with Edwards so of course he'd be there (when he is in town) besides, they have a little bet gonig on. Edwards is estimating that Edwards will double his TD total fom last year, seeing how Phelps won his 8 gold medals.

No! He and Braylon are friends so he went to a game, I would to. I'm a football fan as well as a Raven's Fan. Lets see Phelps next Sunday at M&T. As far as Phelps not showing up for the coin toss on opening day and blowing it off. Maybe he had some other business to take care of. He is a Raven's fan just like you and I but when it comes to making money or different business appointments what is more important? Hell didn't he give the Raven's a shoot out during the Olympics! Yeah he did!

I think he was still in Chicago that weekend with some of the American Olympic Gold medalists, taping something for Oprah's show.

Carmelo didn't go, probably because they already had Kobe there and didn't think they needed 'Melo. Either way, it's not like Phelps is suddenly a Browns fan or anything just 'cause he's friends with Braylon Edwards. And from what I think they said during the game, Phelps hasn't been home in a while because of all of his obligations and paid appearances, but was headed home straight after the game.

I wasn't that big of a fan of his SNL skit. Michael Phelps doesn't strike me as funny.

thats something that he should've had done when he was younger, my parents were talking to his dad (Fred Phelps) whom my dad knows because they were police buddies back in the day, but it was no good. He'd look alot better with his teeth straight and whatever but Debbie didnt think of it when he was younger so as a result.... we see him the way he is right now. If we had a franchise QB in this last off season we would have traded for Chad Johnson I'm sure of it. Unlike any other team, his role model and spiritual advisor would keep him in check he would NEVER be an issue for this team with Ray here.
