I have never been more angry about a Ravens game.

We've seen much, much worse games. This was nothing. Not even a blip on the list of all-time worst Ravens games.

They're not exactly Gronkowski in the first half, but they're still young and relatively inexperienced. They'll probably improve.

I'm kind of glad that the Patriots are up. Not only will I get a win in pick'em, but I really don't want Pittsburgh to have home field advantage throughout the playoffs. At least they will have to travel to Foxborough should Baltimore lose in Cincy as they have the last two seasons.

Is this like the ultimate downer post? Man and I was getting on the bmore dude.. Any optimism at all? Anywhere?

Of course there is optimism. Baltimore won, after all. And I was really going for a glass half full. It's not like Baltimore can get that first seed this week so at least I got a win in pick'em (one of few) and if the worst should happen next Sunday, Pitt won't get the first seed.

All I keep hearing from Harbs, Flacco, everyone is we need to improve, we will improve, we need to work on that. Funny thing is, they been saying it for 4 years. Whens this improvement coming. Reminds me of Obama...... CHange......right...

That's what I like. The "ratbirds" are still standing in the way of the vaunted Steelers.

maybe its the offensive scheme, maybe its flacco, i still don't see flacco's ability to use his WRs, right there in the press conference it was stated that the WRs only had 2 catches. 2 catches! u look at flacco's numbers today- 11/24 132 yds. i mean if our running game wasn't there today,......god, flacco is having his worst season by far. when i see him throwing over the middle to his receivers (which he does rarely) the ball seems to take an eternity to get there. idk man, its just not the feeling you want after a game like this, and i dont think anybody can say that after this performance, they are more confident in going into cincy and beating them in a place where we've generally struggled. and we thought the browns rattled flacco today? we all remember flacco's performance in cincy last year, i hope

Undefeated at home! Gotta love it

Even more reason to come out next week, prevent the Bengals from getting into the playoffs and locking up the 2 seed. We are undefeated at home and if we can get a Home Playoff game we have a good shot at making it to the Super Bowl, of course Cam will screw it up.

and with the mediocre performance of this offense, do we really think we can hang with new england if we play them? or san diego if we play them again??

All we have is one game of the season left to have a bye week guys. Lets play our best ball game next week and carry it to the playoffs. We still haven't played our best ball game yet. Ive been very PATIENT! Let's gooo!

I'm not really concerned about San Diego, they probably won't make the playoffs and if they do it would probably be as a wildcard. Rivers's record in the post season (3-4, if I recall correctly) isn't as impressive as his December record. On top of that, they will have to travel to the north east in January (if they get the WC, of course). I doubt that they would make it to the second round unless they play Houston.

New England is another story, but they don't really matter either. The team that I am concerned about is Cincy. The Ravens mediocre offense will have their work cut out for them as they always do against that defense, but on top of that they might have to actually try to win a shootout if the defense can't stop Dalton and Green.

If Baltimore falls to the wildcard round and has to play on the road, in front of a national audience... well, we all know how that usually works out this year.

Ill say this Flaccs pick was a really bad decision. The receivers also dropped too many passes, and the D fence has me really concerned! I thought they would of played harder seeing they got embarrassed last week. We cannot go into Cinci playing like this or we lose.

@darklight- yes, this team better be focused and i can just visualize flacco getting shut down by that bengals defense. i hate to be a downer but goddamn, this guy is really starting to piss me off. and yes, in past years, i was comfortable in going on the road in the playoffs but well, this year, we all know how this team struggles on the road. and new england will matter, my friend. they most likely will have the #1 seed wrapped up which means that if we wish to advance to the SB, we'll probably have to go to NE if the pats don't choke. obviously, thats no guarantee since they have choked in recent years but im telling u, this year, flacco is gonna have to win us a playoff game, we know he has a winning record in the postseason, but u know what i mean. at some point, this guy has to step up like all the other SB QBs

New England may matter later on, but if Baltimore drops to the Wildcard round, I'm not confident that they will go deep enough into the playoffs for the Patriots to matter. Conversely, if the Ravens get the second seed, they may be fortunate enough for say, Pittsburgh to travel to Foxborough and beat the Patriots again. So there are two ways for NE to not really be a factor.

You shouldn't need a creative play in that situation. It's two yards, Flacco should have been able to get that by falling forward on a qb sneak or the line should have been able to get enough push for a measly 2 yards.
[/quote]
True, but it regardless, it was terribly predictable.

I really hope we go in there and break some disturbing trends....Flacco's poor play, WRs not getting open, TEs disappearing, CBs gettin' beat and not showing up on the road. Let's go Ravens! We have underachieved more than enough to get it out of our system.
