Week 13 - Baltimore Ravens At Cleveland Browns

1,533 posts in this topic

I see NE and Pittsburgh as the teams to beat in the AFC. We handled Pitt twice, but the playoffs are another story altogether. I feel good about our ability to stop the run, but a good passing team can play us close. The way to stop a passing team is to constantly put pressure on the QB. Let's see if the defense can continue to pressure the QB today.

If we lose today I will never complain again about analysts slobbering over NE/PIT and dismissing us. They're playing the way contenders play.

News flash: NE is playing The Colts. Pats are good, but we can beat em. And I think we need to take a few notes from this Pittsburgh/Cincy game for our game against Cincy Week 17. We need to put them away early. Enough about other games. I want to destroy Cleveland. Sure they have a terrible record, but they're in our division and they need to be put down. Pressure Colt McCoy and stop the run game in the backfield. If you have them for a loss, wrap them up with both arms and make it so. Lets come out with a 9-3 record today. Go Ravens.

I'm looking at Tennessee's schedule, and they could very well finish 10-6, which will be a problem if the Ravens drop their remaining road games.

vs. NO
@ IND
vs. JAX
@ HOU

The only game I see them losing is vs. NO, though @HOU will also be tough.

I have no idea - I have a feeling that We;re going to let him go after this season. Just my feeling - I dont see why we would keep him, he hasnt done anything for us for 2 seasons now.

Need some things to worry about ? Let me help......

With the Browns having a top-rated pass defense and a bottom-rated run defense , it's natural to expect the Ravens to display a solid rushing attack today. The problem ? Grass. The Ravens have averaged 2.6 yds/carry on grass this year vs. 4.1 on turf. Last year the split was 3.3 vs. 3.9.

Not enough ? OK , how 'bout this : Indy , at 0-12 now , has been considered a gimme win. The 0-11 Indy was the old Indy , however. They now appear to have a QB. You know , the position where they suffered the injury that destroyed their season. Orlovsky went 30 of 37 for 353 yds , with a QB rating of 113 as the Colts nearly beat NE today , and they scored three TDs in the 4th qtr.

Worried yet ? If not , let me know. I have more.
