To be fair, the 9ers D has been making more waves and getting way more turnovers than the Steelers'. Statistically, they were (and probably still are) the #1 D

Yeah, I know about that one. I even commented on it to my gf (she's a 9ers fan... sorta). It was pretty clear and possibly even unnecessary since the pass wasn't the greatest. She did complain about our field being slippery though. I think it was because Gore kept falling.

M&T Bank Stadium has a great drainage system even though it had rained hard here for several days before the game. I have been on the field and the turf has a much different feel to it than grass. I think that Gore was falling because he was trying to adjust to all of the stunts and blitz packages that were constantly getting to him before he could get past the line of scrimmage. According to Suggs in his NFL channel post-game interview, Smith constantly stared down the rushers in the second half, not knowing where they were coming from and how much time he had. I'm sure I'll gain some more insight on how the defense felt from Johnson's Monday morning report on the radio too. Overall, Smith reminded me of Sanchez earlier in the year. He didn't look like the poised veteran, but like a shell shocked rookie about to get hammered. I am sure that he is feeling the pain of being thrown around like a rag doll. Hahaha. Great game, Ravens.

What a better way to send a statement to the rest of the NFL by beating a great 49ers' team. We are stepping it op and doing what is needed to beat the elite and will be very dangerous during the playoffs.

You know I live here in Illinois and even when we win games all I here about is how great Ben has done this day! Even on ESPN Sportscenter, Chris Berman and his NY Giants, no one wants to acknowledge OUR wins!!! I guess they will join the bandwagon when we scoop the AFC Playoffs and take on the NFC and there pansy pass offenses versus the AFC tried and true defense oriented game plans come on GReen Bay meet the baddest boys!!!
