Harbs told Ray it's better for him to not play tonight and use the extra time of rest after this game to heal. Harbs, the extra time is for Ray to heal AFTER he plays tonight. Come on Harbs, make smarter decisions and I can't believe he told Ray he can't play. Billick would have let Ray play tonight.

Since Pitt has to play the 49ers AT San Francisco... and both teams have (relatively) soft schedules otherwise, I think Harbs might be thinking long term - this game is the ONE that wouldn't be vital to win...

Just guessing, but I'd rather lose Ray for one game, then multiple.

of course, i would love to watch Ray-Ray on tonight BUT the bigger picture is that after tonight the team gets 10 days before their next game and Ray should have healed up nicely. we NEED him later in the schedule. let's watch our other LBs step up to the plate and play the game of their lives tonight! Ngata, Redding, J.J., McClain, Suggs, Webb and Ed Reed and the rest of the crew will hold the defense down tonight
