Week 10 - Baltimore Ravens At Seattle Seahawks

2,972 posts in this topic

Flacco is innaccurate way too much. THis teams is never motivated against weak teams. Harbaugh is too easy on his players, and if this keeps up he won't have a job much longer. You all know what happened to Billick because he was the same way. The offense didn't look good, but the defense blew chunks today. Harbaugh needs to man up and start holding players accountable for this crap. THese players need to be knocked around a bit. THey don't need coddling. That's why they continue to lose against bad teams. If this play continues, they will have 2 more losses against the Browns and another against the Colts. THat will be 6 losses, and we know how they struggle against Cincinatti, and lets not forget San Diego. Something better change, or this team can wave its playoffs hopes away, and then you can say goodbye to Cameron and possibly Harbaugh himself.

you cant blame this on the defense. we really should have got blown out. almost all of the seahawks scoring drives were like inside our 30. no other defense could have kept hope alive like ours did. That last drive was due to Chris Carr getting burned again. Crucial 3rd down and longs were all converted by throwing at Chris Carr.

I'm really buying into the arrogance thing at this point. We play so flat after either a big win, against an inferior opponent, or both. It's just wrong.

For those commenting on Flacco's accuracy, I will say this, he was pretty inaccurate today. However, half of his misses were over/underthrown passes and the other half were drops by his receivers. With that said, you can't blame the whole game on Flacco.

I agree that Flacco needs to step up and stop over throwing.... underthrowing the ball we could have came out with a win....but again our defence plays a weak young team and gets beat up....yes our defence did a great job holdng them to just feild goals but our coverage was weak to say the least many caught balls by seattle that should of never been... i don't want to even get on why the hech we kept putting David Reed in to return the ball i mean come on REALLY.... Bet you any amount of money john H ... will take the blame for that one....WOW just think Both fumbles and a pick cost us 9 points .... 9-22=13.... well aleast we can say when we lose we can only blame our selfs because we made the mistakes and they caped on them.... Lets just say I'm not a flacco fan i said it the first time he threw the ball for the RAVENS and i'll say it now HE WILL NEVER BE A CONSISTENT QUARTER BACK AND HE WILL NEVER BE.... I still Love the RAVENS non the less and will always be there for them as a fan.... i will defend them to the end ....

Was I mistaken when I heard that Jimmy Smith was going get more playing time but all the playing time went to Chris "Throw At Me Cause I'm Just Going to Stand There and Watch You Catch It" Carr.

If Joe cant complete at least 60-65% of his passes he is a liability. Yea yea Joe led that drive against pitt. Excluding that game, if you truly look at our wins. Can you really say we are winning because of him not despite of him? HOW MANY TIMES IS HE GOING TO MISS A WIDE OPEN TORRE SMITH FOR AN EASY TD DOWN THE FIELD.

Another thing that cose us the game: our D couldn't stop a pass to Marshawn Lynch at the end of the game on 3rd and 5, he just juked two defenders and that was it.

For all of your fair weather fans.

I'm sorry but if your team is not up for certain games or suffers from "letdown" games continually, it is the fault of the coaching staff.

I agree 100%

yeah, 9-22=13 and 17+6=23(missed FGs)

Joe really has some mojo going in crunch time nowadays. I have no doubt that with 3 timeouts and 3+ minutes he would have drove the field and won the game. Especially with how undisciplined seattle was playing D as far as penalties. That said, you cant go back, when you have a chance to win the game, and blame it on things that happened in the first half. You forget about it and play in the moment. The defense did none of that. I wasnt aware the seattle boasted a top5 o-line, bc ngata and suggs did diddly squat, especially on the last drive.

Forget David Reed. I'd have Chris Carr return punts. Reed fumbled last week. Dude needs to get that corrected.
[/quote]
You mean kick returns? And Carr won't be doing it next year because his coverage was awful. Once Jimmy gets to 100% and we're smart enough to use him on Defense instead of just Special Teams, Carr's going to be out of a job.

Another game against a low end team and the Ravens showed up flat.

The defense looked like they couldn't stop my 8 year old from running or passing against them. Cameron again proved that he should not be on the Ravens sideline. 5 rushes out of 1 of the best RB's in the NFL.

It appeared that Cam was stuck in some daydream that he was the OC for the Packers, Patriots or Saints...ok scrap that...even THEY all run the ball more than 5 times with lesser calibre RB's.

Unbelievable..just unbelievable

1. I can recall at least terrible drops. 2 by torrey, 2 by boldin, and 1 by rice. turn those into completions and he's @ 65%

2. Uh, the arizone game, DUH

Carr looked like foxworth, and we got abused all game by their corners (Can I get a flag?) We couldn't get to jackson, and overall our defense looked confused at times. David Reed managed to fail twice when he shouldn't have left the endzone in the first place...This can't continue against cincy next week

People in Baltimore are very upset with the direction of this team. It is a roller coaster every week. Every time we play a so called inferior team, we are made to look like fools. I hope we are done with the Harbaugh feel good stories (commercials and Daddy Harbaugh). Concentrate on getting your team ready to play every week fella!

Well....lost to the Seattle Seahawks. That makes road losses to 3 losing teams. There is no way the Ravens can lose games to those teams and be a viable playoff team. The Raven veterans just don't have it in them to take care of business on a weekly basis. They can get up for a game, but they can't apply themselves to a year long goal to obtain Home Field throughout the playoffs. They may not make the playoffs now and if they do they'll play on the road again and lose to Pittsburgh when it counts. How disappointing.

Fair Weather...........Foul Weather..........this is a team that is at least a year away yet......it needs a new Offensive Coordinator......It needs a Power Running Game, which it DOES NOT have. The Shame is this is probably Ray and Ed's last year. Its too bad.
