All right let me break this down one more time:
[u]Ravens' passing game[/u]: Our newfound use of 2TEs works well against the Steelers' susceptibility to tight ends, and now that we have a deep threat who actually IS a deep threat (instead of a damaged Evans who can't get open), we should be able to open the field up. That is IF the line can hold, which might depend on Grubbs playing. Since their LBs are injured or out, it shouldn't be too tall of a task to get receivers open. And this time Joe will know that Anquan is ALWAYS open.
[u]Ravens' running game:[/u] Ray Rice seems to work against their defense, especially this year. But we haven't been running as much. I still like our run game over their run D.
[u]Ravens' run defense:[/u] Probably more of the same. Redman and Mendenhall had a few first down runs on us last time, but I think our line will shut them down as usual and I don't expect the Steelers to run much anyway.
[u]Ravens' passing defense:[/u] There are two keys - preventing the quick passes from slowly eating up yardage and clock time, and preventing Ben from scrambling for the big play. But if any Ravens defense is up to the task, it's this one. We finally have our big corners who can disrupt the quick timing plays that the Steelers will be depending on. Cary should have a better time handling Wallace or Brown by now and getting Smith and Carr on the field this time is a big improvement. Of course, I still expect us to get to Ben when the ball is in his hand for more than a few seconds.

There you have it. I believe the Ravens have gotten better since week 1, so long as they bring the offense they're capable of, and not the one that floundered for 6 quarters this season.

Enjoyed reading Hawkprey's optimistic analysis of the Ravens -Steelers match-up. We do know that when the Ravens play well, they are an amazing team. I am hoping to see that we come out with everyone firing full throttle for the entire game.

I actually don't worry too much about winning the toss or not. It will be interesting to see what Pitt does IF they win the toss. Last time they deferred and we scored a TD in 1:50. If they win the toss and decide to take the ball, I'd say Week 1 is still in their head.

our offense needs to run the ball and set up the play action affectively. When we need to pass we need to spread recievers out and put flacco in shotgun.

Boldin 1 touchdown 89 yards recieving

torrey smith 2 receptions 70 yards
other pasing yards im too lazy to post

Defense:
1 interception
5 sacks 3 are suggs
