Just a little bit of that ignorance I was talking about

I'm with you. It's truly nonsensical. We struggled in numerous facets, until all of the sudden, we turned it around into a remarkable comeback. People will continue to harp on the negatives, and I'm aware that there are a number of lessons to take from this contest, so the negatives can't be completely ignored. But it can't overshadow what we were manage to accomplish at the end. Quite frankly, I couldn't be more proud of the Ravens. It was by no means pretty, and being proud of your team earning the victory doesn't mean that you'd be satisfied in seeing the same mistakes in the future. But they could've also folded and walked away with a 4-3 record. However they continued to battle, as always, and found a way to win the game. I'll take that result any and every Sunday.

@rlh445 <personal attacks> Im trying to understand how the hundreds most all of the comments on the flock this past week were all "flacco sucks" "hes the worst qb ever" "tyrd tyrod tyrod". Evry year people bash flacco and i haved always said give him time to develop and whatnot but he is in his 4th year and he hasnt showed tha much improvement. I honestly dont understand how people can go from hating on flacco to the point of wanting tyrod taylor to start, then after he lead a second half comeback everyone is bowing down to him like he just got us to the superbowl. Let me Tell you im not a bandwagon fairweather fan. i have been a bmore fan since i could walk, i had home seasons tickets 2 years ago went to every home game for a whole season and went to a couple last year and this year. I have a natty boh, raven, edgar allen poe quote tatooed, and just got an oriole tatted on my body last week. I just have high expectations for flacco

In my honest opinion, I'm excited because I feel that this was the game that showed us what Joe is truly made of. Cam gave him some freedom, let him run the no-huddle out of the shotgun, and in essence gave him the reins to the offense. I think Cam is the reason Joe hasn't been able to develop and I think this game showed how great Joe can be if given the opportunity. Cam refused to adjust to Joe's strengths against JAX, and this game he did, and Joe delivered us a great come from behind victory.

This game told me that if you give Joe some freedom and get Cam out of his ear he will be elite.

I bet my rediculous paycheck that if flacco sucks next week there will be another week of flacco haters awoken and bashing him hard and tyrod will echo through the forums...its an ongoing theme.

Following a pittsburg loss we lost to tennessee..people bashed flacco

then we went to st louis and dominated there weak defense and people were back to loving flacco

Then our D beat the jets and people hated on flacco for completing only 10/33 passes.
Then we beat the texans and people were back on flaccos side somewhat.

Then we lose to jax last week and then a damn eruption of ungodly comments of people hating flacco, wanting new qs planning for next year already. And here we are again for loving flacco after beating a weak cards D

????

Dude, you're confusing the hell out of me. It seems to me that you're pissed at the fair weather fans....
If that's the case then why are you joining in on the bashing after Flacco had an impressive game?...
In my eyes, you're just as bad as the people you're mad at for being up and down about their opinions of Flacco.

Pitt is throttling a bad Pats D. They are going to be stoked, so we are going to need the bump. Lets see if Cam forgets everything he learned this week as usual.

Luckily I was at the game today so I got to miss the game thread.

But I was curious, how many times did people say 'Game Over' today? The negativity must have been horrible in the 1st half.

I'll be the first to admit, I thought we were done. I was so disgusted, I came up here and did my Arabic homework on Skype with my study partner. After that, it was middle of the 3rd quarter and my Dad said they couldn't stop Boldin(he used some pretty graphic language to describe it) So I sat down and we got a False Start penalty(i think on Gurode) and I said "I come back and this happens. Maybe I should just not watch so they can win" and then Flacco threw to Boldin and he drew the pass interference from Jefferson or Peterson on the 3 and we got a TD. I'll never be a Flacco hater. But our O-Line I can't stand. I don't know if it was just Gurode or what, but I can't wait for Grubbs to be healthy. He and Evans need to be back by next week. And hopefully Flacco can get on target with Torrey because Torrey beats his man every time. That last drive was probably the most beautiful I'd ever seen. Torrey toasted his defender and set us up for the FG.

Negativity is such a meaningless word compared to the comments posted on the GDT. I'm wondering... Do people ACTUALLY believe that a potential benching of Flacco and introduction of a rookie, raw and unproven Taylor would help us win games?.. Logic, people.. Logic.

Good Lord, I can only imagine this thread through the first half. I was listening on the radio and was so ticked off at how it was going. I can't even imagine the doom and gloom in here, lol.

just ur normal bench flacco... Tyrod is the savior of the world and cam is the devil posts.. Nothing serious.

Was hilarious though when flacco and crew led the coneback that all the haters credited the defense ans wouldnt give flacco any credit.. It was definitely fun callin em out on that

I'm glad I was at the game. Then I at least got to SEE that nay-sayer's faces as we mounted the biggest comeback in Ravens history - mainly through Flacco's arm. Just too good...

What's the over/under on our game getting an NFL Replay nod?
I would have to say pretty good. Don't remember seeing to many close games. The Steelers-Pats game will probably be replayed.

On top of that Joe's stats don't do his performance credit. The INT was totally on T Smith. Boldin couldn't reel in the early TD from a beautiful Flacco pass.

Like two guys around me tried to start a Tyrod chant but its like why?

It's really night and day when Joe had time to throw. The first half the O-Line was horrendous.

Yeah, that Boldin pass was in his stomach. There were about 3-4 drops or very catchable balls, I'd say. Of course, Flacco's numbers would be even better if you factor in the numerous PIs and holds by the Cardinals. If you watched the game, you knew Joe Flacco was on the mark.

Not going to lie. Early on it looked like Joe still had the Jaguars game funk. Missing guys and throwing it to bad spots (ofcourse O-Line really was no help in the 1st half). I think the early booing didn't help either. Seemed like Joe had to find a way out of his mental funk and the crowd wasn't going to help. Luckily he did.

Portions of the crowd were just dumb. Even on the offenses' last snap of the game, when Flacco just took the ball and laid down, someone behind screamed, "Joe fumbled it!"... Uh... I swear, a good portion of those people don't even know what's going on.

148, got sunburnt lol. Well worth it, though. To be in attendance for the Ravens biggest comeback ever? I'll take a little redness.

Did you win free Papa John's / AirTran? Hahah 535 sounds familiar.

Didn't win anything. But when I was at the Texans game we won the AirTran discounts.

Not bashing brother. They did not play the way the Ravens D can play.
It is unrealistic to expect them to stop people from getting points when they are on the 2, or 30 really.

But either way my sincere apologies sir, I get pretty salty when somebody attempts to demean this defense when they are number 1 in the league when we have so many other opportunities for griping.

Folks talking about the naysayers/fair-weather/what-have-you fans on this forum during the first half of the game is like comparing oranges to tangerines. I wasn't at the game but I was glued to the television set and I could not believe that the fans at the stadium BOO'ed our team at halftime. Really Baltimore?! REALLY????!!!! Unreal....
