Week 7 - Baltimore Ravens At Jacksonville Jaguars

2,933 posts in this topic

Only thing that will make this loss positive is if they leave Cam in Jacksonville. Because if it takes a loss to can the guy who holds are offense back, than so be it.

Congrats to Jaxville, you controlled the clock and you got first downs.

Flacco,
You need a QB Coach and a new offensive coordinator but overall you need to control that huddle by hurrying up the offense. its called the no huddle hurry up offense for a reason....

The play that I think you can narrow down as the individual worst was Kruger's running into the punter. If you count how horribly Cundiff missed that field goal, that is right there with it though.

Harbaugh? Don¨t even get me started on Cam..
lmao we do need new coaches though this train has docked. Harbaugh is a team manager not a coach. If he could coach he would have taken over the offense. Clearly he can't, so no need for him or Cam to be here, they are way to predictable.

@Alexir dude the reason flacco wasnt hurrying up was because cam cameron wouldnt let joe call the plays at the line himself like the hurry up should be done cam wastes time being selfish and cost us valuable time he needs to be gone and flacco needs to be monitored he hasnt been doing it this year if we didnt have a defense or ray rice we would not be 4 wins deep

I'm absolutely sick. The people saying Flacco isn't the guy are overreacting. I agree that was a horrendous display but quitting on your teammate isn't the Raven way. Joe has won at least 1 playoff game every year since he's been in the league, I'm not saying he's Tom Brady but he's good enough to win a superbowl with. The O-Line crumbled in the 1st half and there were a lot of PI's and defensive holding that was completely ignored. The game turned on what the O did in the first half and that penalty on Pollard.

I blame the ref that flagged Pollard more than Flacco for throwing a pick that late in the game with no timeouts. If the right call is made, the Jags only have 6 points and we get the ball with good field position, that's a bigger mistake than Flacco's int. Big Ben threw how many picks against us and in a similar situation against the Texans. Ben had one last shot at the end to beat houston and he choked by throwing 2 picks on the final drive (1 of which was called back only for the 2nd int moments later). You don't hear steeler fans saying bench big ben for Dennis Dixon.

Good teams lose to bad teams in the NFL, it happens. The Pats and Saints have lost to atrocious Browns teams in previous years. The Packers struggled a lot last season before catching fire, you guys act like team's don't have low points. You don't always win, some game's your team looks like they just flat out didn't show up. It's whether or not you can rebound and tighten up your game as the season goes on that's the question. Grow up and take our @ss beating like a man. we can sit here and whine and point fingers all we want. This team has showed they can beat the best teams in the NFL. On to the next one,the cards are all that we need to focus on. Keep your head up and work hard, that's all you can do.

This was Flacco's fault. This was Cam's fault. This was the O line's fault. To blame it on one aspect is ridiculous but what a disappointment.

I didn't like the onside kick. I hated the entire game. I tried to turn it off and keep away from watching any more. I did a few times, but I watched until the interception. That was the worst game we've played. We let them beat us with field goals. Tyrod Taylor isn't the answer though. He'll get demolished with this O-Line. And now I have to go to Arabic Wednesday, take a test and listen to a Steeler fan gloat. Way to go Ravens. You've made my life terrible. I feel like a Redskins fan from last year. I'm gonna have to start taking Prozac before every game. That interception was definitely Joe's fault, but the blame of this loss can't go just on him. The play calling was horrid and nobody showed up. Even on Defense, we missed tackles. I seriously feel nauseas. We need OT's. I'm sorry, but I'm really not sold on Oher even at RT. It sucks being a Ravens fan. Just let the squeelers right back in it.

Look, we played badly on ALL sides of the ball. The O line was crap. The WRs didn't get any separation. And why when everything was shut down do we wait until the 3rd to even BEGIN to use our TEs? And why do we not go to the no huddle to set their D back on their heels and try to get something going on offense BEFORE crunch time? Because Cam cannot LET GO. He cost us at least 2 mins on that TD drive and a time out. He HAS to go. He is holding us back. This officiating crew was so biased it wasn't even funny. That flag on Pollard. That tackle of Suggs from the back that wasn't called before that. Then they blow the whistle to let the Jags get everyone on the field and set for the kick off? WTH?

Oh and an onsides kick? Really? When their guy has already kicked 2 54 yarders? Really Harbaugh?

When inside the 2 mins with the ball in Flacco's hands, even before when the drive started I was uneasy, felt like joe was going to throw an int or some kind of turn over to end the game. But the "feeling" and not confidant about whats going on and needing a touchdown is what bothers me the most. That gut "feeling" everytime this happens you don't know. It's totally different from when Manning/Brees/Brady/rodgers has the ball to win the game. Even if they don't win or make a game winning drive, that feeling that you get because you know in these situations you just haven't seen flacco come through consistantly. I am truely only a ravens fan, I really don't know what that feeling is like when the other guys have the ball in their hands to win the game. I know what the feeling is like when manning has the ball against the ravens to win it. Its the same feeling I get when Flacco has it to win the game, just not good. I love flacco, he does a great job and honestly no one's been better than him in years but damn step in up flacco. This IS a team game, however crunch time he needs to lead his team to victory.

Now I see why we can't win in the playoffs, let's be honest with ourselves, we can't win a Super Bowl with Flacco at QB, look at the last couple of Qbs that won the Super Bowl (Rodgers, Brees, Manning) he's nowhere on the same level with those guys, he couldn't hold there jock strap, Flacco is a lost cause right now. If the ravens want a Super Bowl they're gonna to need a QB who makes better decision and one that can get rid of the ball quick. It is what it is y'all watched the same game I watch

There goes our week 18 Bye. can someone please beat the Patriots.?
That is a little premature. We just have to win out now. We have no breathing room for teams like the Chargers and the upstart 49ers. Not to mention our division foes.

I agree to a point. Flacco's ability can take us there however the decision making probably not. In his hands inside 2 mins to win the game probably not. A lot of the people say it's the teams fault. I saw nothing wrong with defense. 12 points 3 50+ fields goals no TD's allowed while in the red zone. Forced a turnover inside the 5 to stop them from scoring. I don't know what it is, not really sure whats going on with the offense and I sense it's the same problem from last year coming and up and biting in our butts again. Flacco doesn't look comfortable, maybe its the play selection, just wondering, can Flacco just outright change the freaking play? maybe he needs to to feel more comfortable in the pocket. Sometimes I just feel lost with him.

Tyrod should have at the very least gotten a play or two in. We were losing terribly anyway but if we unlocked Tyrod's potential we could have come back with a win. What's the point in having a back up quarterback if that's not what he was doing? Flacco was in the game more than he should have been and wasn't much help in moving the chains until the very last few minutes of the game.

Ravens picked up Tyrod but won't play him??? It's a shame with his talent..........

i dnt believe its premature because Jags suck. and the Pats are gonna be 14-2. and if we layed another egg like this against another sucky team ( titans, Jags) who else are we gonna stall on.. we needed to save this loss for a better team.

You obviously didn't see the fact at the end of the game. 4 GW drives last year.

Don't know about saving a loss for a better team but 6-1 recording going into pitt looked pretty good 3.5 hours ago. Now to take the division we need to win out without any mistakes. I wouldn't even be so upset if we played well and just lost because the opponent played better. But when we kill ourselves and lose the game, thats the loss I can't stand.

Steelers need to win because we will take care of them in week 9. and atleast the pats will be tied with us for the AFC #1 spot.. there's a bigger goal this year, we know we're gonna win the division. we need that bye week.

We will never know what Tyrod could have done unless he was put in the game, obviously Flacco wasn't able to do much of anything. Losing the way we did almost wasn't worth watching...

Besides the one that he did against pitt without that guy that wears 43 (should not be named) who was the other 3?

Hold on folks!
(1.) The DEFENSE played lights out! The Jags only scored because of a phenomenal night by a kicker...that's it.
(2.) Joe only made one MAJOR mistake, which was the interception...which could've been easily forgiven had it happened earlier in the game. He had a few dropped passes that were on the money and he had to force everything else ALL NIGHT LONG because of lack-of-time (due to the offensive line) or lack-of-separation (by the receivers from the db's). I'm not a Flacco-homer, but don't put more on him than he deserves tonight.
(3.) Ray Rice wanted NOTHING to do with this game after those fumbles. Jones-Drew was fumbling (and their offense was playing bad) because we were knocking their block off! Rice was fumbling (and our offense was playing bad) because of "US".

We'll be alright. We didn't make a bunch of mistakes - Jags just had the offense's number.
