Flawed thinking imo. Of course, you should always want the maximum amount of points. But you're complaining about a completion that puts them in position to score the maximum amount of points easier. The consecutive plays after that play didn't give them points but you don't know that's going to happen yet, all you know is 51 yards into their redzone and you still complain.

And I take 3-points and a lead in the game over their supposed psychological advantage, our team is pretty strong mentally, I don't think they get pushed around because they had to settle for 3 points and a 16-14 lead.
