Although the offense was very sloppy.... the defense was IMMACULATE. I am glad we have this bye week to rest up, work on the offense, and come back with renewed energy.

It wasn't pretty, but we hung in there.. and walked away with the win (that's what matters).

I live in NYC now, so it was also very fun to see all the 'green' jerseys give me nasty looks before they left the bar crying lol

Playing against a Rex Ryan defense? Come on, man!

Seriously?

Yes, he played bad. The defense is irrelevant. Do you disagree?

Be happy we won. The Jets are a decent team.
Our defense kicked butt but our offense was a bit sketchy. But we won, all we care about.

That what I was wondering. It WASNT Seven Nations it was like words and not a lot of people were doing it...
[/quote]i asked my bro who was at the game, he said it was coming from the away side lower section. they were chanting "SAN CHEZ - SAN CHEZ - SAN CHEZ" haha how demoralizing. i definitely heard this at least the whole fourth quarter

i know i heard another chant but bro doesn't know

I have to say, this was a great victory, but I am a little bothered by the fact that I went to bed with half the 3rd quarter still left, and when I checked the score today, it didnt change at all after I stopped watching. I am glad our defense held, but what happened to the offense?

How is the Jets' defense irrelevant??? How is it Flacco's fault when his receivers and tight ends can't get open out of the coverage? How is it Joe's fault when the pocket collapses in on him??? The Jets' defense is hardly irrelevant, seeing that the Jets coaches probably planned to stop our passing attack as much as possible.

The Jets aren't the St, Louis Rams. And Joe doesn't play in a bubble.

Some was Joes fault and others stated by PAravengirl but thats the best coverage group w a pass rush we will see. and i do not see them gettin to the playoffs so we had a poor O game we get better

Maybe I worded it wrongly.

I don't care about who faced him. May it be the best defense ever created or middle school bench warmers. Throwing 10 for 31 is a dismal performance. You're trying to make it out like I dumped the whole blame on him and only him. I simply said that he had a bad game. Do you disagree?

Yeah he did have a bad game. But you have to factor in the defense that he faced....I feel sick saying it but don't write off the Jets defense and consider them irrelevant. They DID play a factor in Joe's poor performance whether you want to admit it or not.
