Week 4 - Baltimore Ravens Vs. New York Jets

2,441 posts in this topic

we have low depth in our secondary with haruki and foxy out. the key to this victory is getting to sanchez. with torrey showing up big, he will draw some attention or burn them. this one will be fun i see us dominating them

Isolating the LB's of NYJ is the key, IMO. Ray Rice and Dickson CAN'T be covered by any LB in the league honestly.

Agreed... although, David Harris is pretty fast and is probably one of the only guys who could.

I'd say Timmons is faster and he was torn to shreds by Rice in coverage.

Carr missed practice today and is questionable for Sundays game. Considering our already depleted Secondary it would be a huge blow if he doesn't suit up!

Harris > Timmons

I actually like both of these LBs a ton. Its hard to like any Steelers but I do like Timmons.

But to me its
Timmons > Harris

Man. A texans win early coupled with us beating the jets would make this Sunday almost as amazing as opening weekend. I hope we play with fire in our belly for 60 full minutes. We will need it. GO RAVENS!!!!

That really sucks if he can't play. That'd leave use with Williams, Webb, Chykie, and Gorrer. Even Nakamura is out for nickel. We've got no guys to cover the slot.

Thankfully we have Ayanbadejo who can cover over the middle.

I'm with Pu, I think Timmons is better than Harris personally. Both really talented but I'd give Timmons the edge.

Timmons is more complete IMO.

As for Chris Carr, he's starting to piss me off. This guy always has a hammy injury.
As for Evans, if he were Mason he'd be playing. Lol. Though Lee's game is speed. A bad wheel makes him less Useful.

Personally, this is the most anticipated game of the season for me. I want to knock Bart Scott/ Rexy completely humiliated. SNF, black jersey, at our turf. This is going to one fun game.

I thought it had healed as well. We really need him to go for us tomorrow night, especially as Nakamura's not going to be able to come in for the dime packages. I do not like the sound of a cornerback group of Webb, Cary, Chykie Brown, Gorrer going up against Holmes, Burress and Mason.

Agreed, maybe the coaches were just being safe & not letting him practice? At least that's what I'm telling myself lol
Pressing the wrs at the line would really help mess up those quick timing passes. Really hoping Ngata terrorizes sanchez all night

The Jets play hard and indeed smart... I've got a baaaaaaaaaaaad feeling about this...
Same here, I hate facing good teams coming off losses. Our secondary will be the deciding factor, which is not a comforting thought.

If Mangold is out I expect Ngata will spend much of the evening enjoying the view from somewhere in the Jets' backfield.

If he gets in there a split-second sooner than he did when he crushed Mendenhall , he'll be able to just take the handoff from Sanchez and truck it on in for a score.

Suggs will be pissed that Haloti got to play running back before he did - ha!

mason played through pain because we had no other alternative. i think it is smart for us to sit lee. it gave a chance for torrey and look wat happened

You know how awsome it would be if the first play of the game we throw it deep to Torrey for a TD.
That would be epic.
