So close Joe. So Close. At least he got a career best.

Yeah!! its a great day when we are rooting for a 400 yard game in a blowout....but Joe cant sling it with any QB in the game...he can win us a Superbowl

I suppose at the very least it is a career high in passing yards for Flacco. And despite dropping back 48 times, was not picked and was sacked only twice when it didn't have any bearing on the outcome.

No doubt. What's the over under for Rex providing bulletin board material? I figure the Jets will be focused on their game today so 3 days maybe?

Flacco's first game of the year against a defense that isn't elite. Pitt and Tenn will probably be in the top 5 in defense this year.

This is true, but it looks like we learned from our mistakes and our rookies look like they are progressing.

ok.....

after watching that awesome game and display by Joe Flacco and Torrey Smith in the passing game on yesterday, there is one lil' itty-bitty thing that bothers me. LOL! even though the Ravens blasted the Rams (like the steelers) and beat them 37-7 (which i am excited about) my only problem is that AFTER the offense scored 3 TDs in the 1st qrtr....THAT WAS IT!!!! the offense didn't score a TD again and settled for FGs! even with this great win (and it was great) the lack of TDs from our offense in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th qrtrs can't be ignored!

we gotta learn how to keep our foot on the gas offensively...qrtr after qrtr!

i just posted about this before seeing your post. good to see that i am not the only one that sees it that way!

we did however, put up points but they were FGs and not TDs (like in the 1st qrtr). we had a drought for 3 qrtrs. smh!

It was a great win but Militant & Zeus,... that point you both bring up wasn't lost on me either. I am definitely NOT a "FOC" (fan of Cam), so I wasn't shocked that the Ravens took the foot off the petal!

I wasn't even stunned, as mentioned by the talking heads, that Joe Cool wasn't rested and Tyrod be brought in to get "game experience" and close out the win!

It often seems to be the Raven Way to do the inexplicable these days!

BTW: If the Rams need CB help, we have a Foxworth they can have!

Mili you hit it on the head.

I don't know how to respond to that. Did we just play conservative to avoid running up the score against the Rams? Did we just settle for FGs on purpose? I have no clue, but I got concerned not seeing any TDs made in the second half. Of course the Rams made some adjustments that worked in their favor (benching King and other adjustments). We'll have to see.
