Week 2 - Baltimore Ravens At Tennessee Titans

2,074 posts in this topic

Yea our pass rush did NOTHING. So much for a dominating D. Seems like the same inconsistent bs that we had going on last year. We comeout against the steelers and shock the world than we comeout against the titans of all teams and allow 400 yards of offense, we draft jimmy smith to be our no 1 corner and dick around with him on the special teams and he goes out, foxworth is so worthless and pathetic frank walker sounds really epic right now. We give chris carr a big deal of the only few free agents we get and he gets injured all the time...unreal so disappointing.

That doesn't mean Flacco should force it, that just means the receivers need to run better routes and get some separation
I don't think I can come up with a better response then, 'Duh!,'.

The scheme was the problem. Putting the corners on islands wasn't working, and neither was running the ball and checking down.

The D didn't exactly bring their A game even aside from Foxworth. And why are we giving him a break? He's the one who's been getting burnt all game. Williams got caught on but he was at least there trying.
I'm not exactly giving him a break, I don't want to see him out there if possible but to pin this loss entirely on him is unfair. He may be the lowlight of the defense but this has just been a crap performance all around.

Embarrassing, how do you let a garbage QB like Hasselbeck dominate you like that?
Hasselbeck is an excellent QB. He got to a Super Bowl and multiple Pro Bowls in Seattle and was screwed over by poor offensive line play when Walter Jones retired. He's a lot better than he gets credit for.

Well this game was a reality check for our team. We weren't going to go 16-0 anyways, we might as well get a loss early to get us focused and working. Last week was such an emotional game for the whole team that I think, deep down, a lot of us feared something like this would happen.

Flacco was better than Roethlisberger was last week, and everyone seemed to pass it off as Ben had a bad game. That's how this league works, no one plays a perfect game every week. Even Peyton Manning has an off day, remember last year when he was throwing 3 or 4 interceptions a game. This is life in the NFL.

Once we get Grubbs back, hopefully next week, the offense should be alright again. I still don't understand why Gurode wasn't in at LG over LeVoir.

This was an odd game all together. Im still sick of all the comments on here, but its expected from the select few. Its a bad game and it happens. Everything that worked so well last week (protection for Joe, pressure on their QB, turnovers for us, explosive offense etc) is not present. If this continues next week, then I will panic. For those that think last week "was all for not", you're wrong! It was still huge....it was a win, a conference win and a division win! Stay loyal people!

Amen, bro! Some people need to go back to the Steelers bandwagon and leave us alone!

Completely Un-inspiring! 8 minutes & down by two scores, and No 2 min. offence ? Cam was the O fence asleep ? Where were the quick plays ?

Attacking D fence ?????
Nice to see we stopped CJ. Guess that's the Only Plus from this.
Not looking like a play off or Superbowl team by any stretch.

We just lost to a 3-13 team. What a letdown.
reminds me of losing to the winless Dolphins a few years back....absolutely pathetic... Ravens need to bring in some Titans coaches next year like they did with Cam

Well, no. We'll be tied and we hold the tie breaker.
We'll be lucky to be tied as long as the Bengals don't beat the Broncos and go 2-0.
This is a bit disturbing to me. During training camp, I thought this team would be inferior to last year's, but I thought their easy schedule would propel them to the post-season. My confidence has been shaken a little bit.

But oh well, just like there was no way they would put up 35 points against every good team they faced, the Ravens will certainly not get destroyed by every lousy team.

In all honesty the only defensive player who showed up today was ray lewis
That may be harsh. Williams was playing his heart out. Britt made some amazing catches even though Williams was right with him. It did seem like a flashback to preseason though. When we couldn't tackle to save our lives. Lots of missed tackles. And Foxworth stunk up the place. No pressure on Hasselbeck. You can't give him all day and expect to win.

How can John Harbaugh have been so unprepared for this game?!? He wants to talk like there is no such thing as a "letdown" game, but guess what? We sucked today! There goes the one game advantage we had. what the heck!
can't agree more...the titans are just the best team ....

Disappointing. But who knows, the Steelers laid an egg last week against us and are still considered an elite team, no reason why we can't lay an egg and bounce back to our proper form.

Great game played by the Titans. I'm not sure what happened today on the Ravens side of the ball, all we can do is hope they don't let it happen again (at least to this degree) for the rest of the season. Go Ravens.
