I posted this in the main forum:

I guess we'll see if our performance against PIT was a mirage or not. Interesting fact - the last 5 times we've beaten PIT, we've lost the game the following week,

No offense, but I think this is still pretty misleading. I could've seen this as a trap game until they started talking smack, but I guarantee the team is motivated and ready to lay the beatdown. The Texans are a 10-6 team at best, they'll make the playoffs because Peyton is out but its not like their team is actually substantially better. The Titans are a mediocre team. 8-8 at best. Hasselbeck is a decent QB but CJ is inconsistent and they only have one strong receiver. Any given Sunday is a tried and true statement, but I just don't the Ravens losing this game.

Stop Chris Johnson, stop Chris Johnson, and just for a change, stop Chris Johnson.

Hope both sides of the ball bring it like they did last week, important to follow up such a result with another win.

I think CJ will be highly motivated against us. I expect him to crack 100. Our run defense didn't look as stout as usual last week, and I wouldn;t be surprised to see the young guys fail to close some gaps allowing CJ to break off into a couple of big runs.

Why are we ranked behind the Bengirls on http://espn.go.com/nfl/standings in our division??

the key to stopping Johnson is stopping him B4 he hits top gear. This means stack the box and attack the QB, nd on the way hit johnson right after he gets the hand off. You know wat i mean? Stop the run on the way to the QB.

While I do agree that CJ COULD have a big day unfortunately, I don't agree that our run defense didn't look stout last week. Mendenhall had one bigg run, but everything else was stuffed! He went 12 for 45 with 23 of that going on one play. His other 11 carries, he averaged 2 yards.

C.J. is not going to have a big day. and even if he does it will not be enough for titans (does anyone have a good funny name for titans?) to get the W.

lol dude, you always seem to be talking up the other team.

Motivated or not, I don't see CJ being an issue this game. Not saying we are going to hold him to 20 yds or anything (though I think it's possible) but I don't see him cracking 100. I think we come out aggressive on O once again putting the Titans back early. That forces them to the air game. They won't win that with their QB and our pass rush.

Just adding a different perspective. Everyone here seems to feel this is a guaranteed win. I love Harbaugh's record against teams with losing records, but Hasselbeck is decent and CJ and Britt could be problems. And I know their DL will be improved from last week.

I don't expect us to beat them the way we beat Pittsburgh, especially not on the road.

look at our D stats. the only thing that counts is the points allowed per game. and we're tied for first. honestly i dont care, as long as we dont give up POINTS. cuz POINTS are wat determine the winner.

This is good and easy oppertunity for us to show the national media that we age BIG this season. And Titans will sry to see Carry William that why they cut him two year ago.

there is no such thing as a guaranteed win however this match up is heavily in our favor. We still have to play to win am i sure everyone in our locker room understands that.

my keys to the game is... get out to a fast start, get up by 14 early, take the ball out of CJ's hand. Matt will be dominated if its on his shoulders

Awww crud! Doesn't look like the game will be on TV here. I hate living in Redskins country. Looks like I will be listening on the radio

That's a depressing thought but it could be worse... You could like the redskins lol

I see a ravens win also but also could see cj have an ok game against us. Only reason I asy this is due to our aggressive pass rush which will at times open up big running plays if our players over persue. But with that said, if Ngata ot Cody get ahold of cj early... It might just effect cj's whole game (he does strike me as being a bit brittle)

Yea he does. I can never remember once when he said something positive about our team. Its always like, the other team is better, we can't stop them, they have pieces that match up well against us.....etc.

Any idea who's playing guard for grubbs? Was really hoping to see s brown/s kindle get a couple reps but its a numbers game I guess. Just hope they continue to develop so they get the play time sooner than later.

I worry about every game, can't help it.

I remember last year how the Patriots traveled to Cleveland last year and got curbstomped by a rebuilding Browns team. Any given Sunday, anything can happen.

If CJ is contained, the game is over, period. But will he be contained? The last time he went against us he had a fantastic game (before the injury), and he'll be getting way more carries this week, so we'll see.
