With 8 seconds left, Robert Griffin found Terrance Williams for a 34 Yard game winning Touchdown. Griffin overall was 21/34 for 479 Yards, 4 TDs and no interceptions. Something tells me Robert Griffin's stock is going to rise and he is going to be fighting with Landry Jones and Matt Barkley for 2nd Quarterback taken in the 2012 Draft, if he comes out.

Landry Jones was 36/51 for 447 Yards, no touchdowns and 1 interception.

i dont know much about him, but after seeing De'Anthony Thomas rip S*** up against USC, he looks very explosive, can catch run kick return, he could be one to look out for, maybe a bit like devin hester, explosive playmaker on special teams

IF he declares he's going before both of them.

His potential is ridiculous, he's a high character guy, is very intelligent and has just about everything you could ever want in a QB. I don't think Landry even belongs in the same sentence as Griffin. I hate spread Quarterbacks that put up mediocre numbers. That system is supposed to inflate your numbers yet guys like Jones (Gabbert last year) don't take advantage.

Luck's going 1st overall, Griffin should be 2nd (if he declares), Barkley top 5 and Jones top 20 maybe.

Now Oklahoma and Oregon can argue over who's the best 2 loss team.

their front seven is terrible.. One decent linebacker in franklin and a good dlineman in bequette but thats all

Well it could be worse. You could be a student at University of Maryland College Park like me...They remind me of the Ravens last year blowing large leads in the 2nd half. At least the Ravens made it to the playoffs. I got here at a terrible time. The year when the head football coach was fired and the head basketball coach quit. So yeah. Two brand new coaches.

Well, looks like it's going to be LSU-Alabama for the BCS Championship... I like LSU a lot, but would rather not see a rematch, although Bama has certainly earned that right.

It's Official. Urban Meyer is coming back to College Football, he will be the new Coach at Ohio State. Meyer has accepted a 7 year $40 Million deal. A press conference to make it official will happen at 5:15.

I'm just glad to see Michigan beat the daylights out of Ohio State. I just hope this continues for a good long time.

In the meantime, I am looking forward to the Big Ten Championship Game on Saturday night.

Wow.. I know there were plenty of Bowl Games through my experience of playing NCAA video games but 35 Bowl Games???? I think that may be a little too much there. Maybe they should cut some of these bowl games and drop to 20 or something to make it more important and mean something that you played in a Bowl Game. 35 of them makes it too easy for teams to get in, if you drop it down to 20 at least it brings back some meaning to it and that you were one of the 40 teams to play in a Bowl game.

its all about the money.. More bowl games=more sponsors.. More sponsors= more money
thats why there isnt a playoff yet

I hate that it's going to be a rematch between LSU and Alabama in the National Title Game, I just watched the Oklahoma vs Oklahoma State game and I honestly believe that it should be LSU vs Oklahoma State in the National Title Game.

Teams like Boise State, OKS, or Stanford could have taken advantage of that 1 Alabama loss, and they didn't.

how does the college bowl games work? do fans vote who plays in them or what? anyone care to explain the whole process
this is the first year ive really been watching college football and i have watched alot of different prospects, getting a better feel for the draft but i just dont understand the bowl games, who gets in them, why so many etc

Have to disagree.

1 - They lost to Iowa State. That's pathetic no matter any circumstances.

2- They aren't THAT good. Their D is awful and Weeden is overrated (he's OLDER than Aaron Rodgers...)

3 - Oklahoma State would've been CRUSHED by LSU. Mo Claiborne is capable of nullifying Justin Blackmon and considering the depth of LSU's secondary they'd have shut down Oklahoma State's passing attack.

At least having an Alabama V LSU National Championship game means it'll be fiercely contested right to the end.

I'm just thankful that Wisconsin managed to pull off the upset over Michigan State for the Big Ten Championship.

So the sons of Bucky Badger will go to the Rose Bowl, as I understand it. I would love to see Pasadena awash in a sea of Red and White, and hearing the crowd sing, "On Wisconsin!"

id explain it in detail if wasnt on my phone lol...
All the teams are rated according to the BCS standings... The top two teams play for the ncaa championship.
From there it gets crazy.. Conference champions and top at large teams are selected for the bcs bowl games which are rose,orange, fiesta, and one more i cant remember.
The rest of the bowls are either "pre selected" or "at large" teams
pre selected means like for instance every year the cotton bowl is sec vs. Big 12 this year its arkansas vs. Kstate
all the "bigger " will feature the top 4or5 teams from each conference.
Then the rest of the bowls are just at large or hand picked for each bowl by the bcs committee..
They say u need 6 wins to become bowl elgible but it isnt a guarantee.. WKU went 7-5 this year and they sidnt get selected for a bowl...

not necessarily a vote per se its based of the bcs standings.. To get a definition on the breakdown of the bcs rating system my friend u will have to google it.. I believe my thumbs would fsll off from all typing
