Agreed. It'll tough to truly evaluate Al Golden depending on how hard the NCAA comes down on the program.

The starters and starting-caliber players will be missed. Still, I'm not too displeased with the ruling.

Baylor's beat-down of TCU is hilarious. This is why they were never allowed to get to the BCS game. They never played REAL competition. They're making every one of Baylor's offensive players look like Heisman Favourites.

Still want to re-think that statement about TCU? Sure, they didn't win, but what a comeback! Oh, and didn't they beat "real competition" in their last two BCS Bowl victories???

Not really.

I don't know why, but I just hate both they and Boise State. When those Bowl games rolled around their opponents had played much tougher schedules against much better programs. TCU had walked through cupcake teams for most of the year and I really doubt they took the same level of wear-and-tear that their opposition did.

Not buying it. There's over a month between the last regular season game and the BCS bowl games, which is more than enough time to rest.

I'm not a "fan" of TCU, but you can't deny that they're a good team. When they move to the Big East, which has an automatic BCS bid, that will certainly increase the level of competition that you're looking for to "legitimize" them.

Matt Barkley is a projected top 5 pick for the 2012 draft, as is Matt Kalil while Robert Woods is a projected top 10 talent for the 2013 draft. So, Lane, which of those aren't "good" players? Hmm? Most coaches would kill for talent like that.

Lane Kiffin just needs to accept that he's an awful coach and play-caller that's been given a free ride because his dad, Monte, is/was a tremendous defensive coordinator.

Well, as far as the first week of the 2011 college football season went, Wisconsin gave UNLV what Michael Wilbon would call a beatdown, and seeing Michigan get a lead only to have the game halted due to weather concerns makes me feel honest about what was done in Ann Arbor yesterday. It had to be done for the safety of those involved - especially the fans.
