They have no O-line...

If that's the case why is Bryan Mattison who is a C/G inactive? If anything we should have had both Kindle and McAdoo activated to take advantage of the weak Steelers offensive line.

Mattison doesn't have anything to do with their O-line.

McAdoo joined the team 2 weeks ago, and he's only played against backups. After this game, he's going to the practice squad. How can you say he should be active? And Kindle is still coming off of his injury. He's seen a limited role in every preseason game. They're still working him into the defense.

To be honest about Kindle he didn't flash as much during the preseason as Kurger, Jones and Mcphee. So I can understand how they are active over him.

Kindle will see plenty of action this year.

Also, the Ravens will probably send a lot of heat from the secondary.

As I said before, this team is so loaded with young talent that it'll be some interesting names on the inactive list every game.

Guys will really have to earn their time on the field this year

I'm really starting to like Marshall Faulk.

When asked if the Steelers are better this year than last, this is what he said:

"No. And for that very same reason, I have not seen a team lose the Super Bowl and not make changes in your secondary, or on defense, or on offense, and become better. I don't know why people think the Steelers are going to be better. The blueprint is out: The Green Bay Packers, they spread them out, they said let's see if you can get to us, let's see if your back end can hold up, and I don't see any of those changes on the back end being made. There's no way that this defense is going to be better. They can't be better than #1...that's what you were. You were the best in this league and you lost the Super Bowl. As the best in the league, Aaron Rodgers had a field day, so when you get ready to talk remember that: they were #1, Aaron Rodgers had a field day, they lost."

Warren Sapp, Mooch, and Kurt Warner say yes. because their offense is versatile and they have a big play WR corps. That, and Ben R. is getting better.

Marshall then said "You know, it's funny that the Pittsburgh Steelers win Super Bowls with offense...at some point in time, that has happened in my lifetime. No, not. It has not."

I don't think we win this game because the Steelers are more experienced, but I expect their old defense to wear down as the season goes on (so I expect to win week 9).
Wow there were some good points he made there. Like you said, we're arguably better placed to win the second game of the season because of the inexperience of a lot of the guys we have starting but it will be one hell of a match as usual regardless.

Blah cbs all picks pitt.... Boomer "steelers are loaded" ha
What else is new? Everyone has been picking the Steelers and making too much of a big deal out of our "losses." I don't know how you consider it a loss when the Ravens cut Heap and Mason. I just love how when we get younger, the media blows it up yet in years past they would always say we need to get younger, yet we do and now it's a bad thing? They will all be wrong in 3 hours.

I love everyone picking against us.
Me too, but that's the way I think we all would like it, us as underdogs and not the favorites.

I don't think we win, but I'm glad everyone is picking against us (and saying the Steelers will go back to the SB). Last year, everyone picked us for the SB, and how did that go? Games are played on the field, not on paper.
