Anyone confused why Zibby is starting over Pollard tomorrow night? Are we trying to shop him or do you think Zibby and Pollard will be splitting snaps in the regular season because there is no way Zibby has outperformed Bernard.

@Alexir, I don't think we're shopping Zibby. It just wouldn't make any sense. I think the most logical reason for why he's starting is because the coaches want to give him a good chance to prove he should be the starter long term.

hope the rain stays away like last week probally cant be lucky twice bringing the poncho. Looking to see if Joe can be more on target this week last week a few of his passes were off at times hope to see a smooth clicking offensive machine and how well someone does against Orakpo pass rushing. (Oher or Reid, etc)

I'm suprised that Haruki is not going to start. I thought the idea was, Zibby in week 1, Bernard in week 2 and Haruki this week. So that they can evaluate everyone and who will be the best option.

i just want to see it! think about it! we have Boldin, Evans, Torrey, Tandon, D Reed, Dickson and Pitta. imo there is NO REASON for why we shouldn't have already seen those in the past games or not to see those "passing" TDs in this game thursday night. especially....IF Joe is gonna play for 3 qrtrs with the 1st team. plus, i want to see how crisp and smoothly Joe handles our offense. i don't want to see the "bad news bearish" type of gameplay (3 and outs) that we have seen in the past from him and the offense.

Well, that's what I keep doing.....seems to be working!

First game that we've actually game planned for someone, i expect to see both Offense and Defense looking really crisp.

Flacco will be much sharper tonight and I expect him to push that 230 yards passing mark. He missed a few easy ones last week, but this time around he'll showcase his at times deadly accuracy.

Lee Evans should be matched up on Josh Wilson, so that should be fun. I expect Evans to be targeted at least 3 times down field tonite.

I think Dickson will steal the show at the TE position tonight. He'll finish with about 5 catches for 65 yards and a TD.

Even without big B out there, I expect the oline to improve off of last weeks solid performance.

Remeber last season we struggled to run the ball in the preseason and it carried over to the regular season? Well tonight will be much different. Leach and the oline will open up huge holes for Rice and Ricky. I think both Parmele and Allen will get some first team touches.

Defensively, the Redskins are looking to evaluate their QB position for the starting job. It won't be pretty for either guy tonite.

Jimmy and Cary will press the WR, with ED roaming. We'll dominate the LOS in the run game and attacking the QB.

We will really get a preview of what this team will look like come the regular season.

Problem with that theory is that the kids will be asking you questions about the game in a couple years. Its a vicious cycle.

my wife is a trip when it comes to Ravens games. although she has a Ray Lewis black jersey and wears it, she couldn't careless about what happens in a game like i do. lol

when we went to the Dec 5 game at M&T to watch the Ravens vs the Steelers. it was FREEEEEZING! and when the Ravens lost....we got back to the hotel and my wife said, [i]"i can't believe that we drove all the way up here from Chesapeake, VA to stand in a long line outside in the cold weather with obnoxious steelers fans near us talking crap all night and then we get inside the stadium and it is freezing...just...to watch the Ravens lose a game that they were winning!"[/i]

now, when she knows i am watching the Ravens play on tv and i am screaming at the tv, she always asks me....[i]"They losing again?" [/i]or[i] "How come they just can't seem to maintain a lead on teams and always let them back in the game or lose it?" [/i]then she will look at me real funny and mess with me by saying... [i]"they're just sorry!" [/i]and she will start laughing!
