I think our Oline improved some

Agreed. No sacks, 4.6 yds/carry rushing. Joe hasn't had ALOT of time, but it's better than last week.

preseason is always vanilla unless you believe in handing opposing teams our playbook.
And we really don't want that seeing as our week one opponent is our bitter rival.

Remember, Cary only has 1 more year experience than Webb, and Webb has started more games. Completions are going to happen in the preseason because (almost) no one gameplans for it. CBs don't know their routes or what to expect.

Yep going to go to the bar drink several beers and try to forget that Cam is our OC and all of our O besides Rice, and Evans making a play, we sucked, thankfully these games dont mean anything but it does not mean that it is an excuse for pathetic play. Although I guess the D counter balanced it, not really but close. Later guys see ya next week

I can live with that mental lapse on KC TD drive, that is very fixable, over-all the D was bringing a lot of pressure from the front 3 and 4, that is key....The O has to work on those false starts, twice we made 3rd and manageable to 3rd and long.....

Not looking as good as I expected.
I do notice the guys who messed up last week are doing better this week but it looks like Flacco sat on his couch playing Madden all week instead of practicing.
I am looking forward to many more LEEEeeeeee chants though! Looking good Evans.
Leach looking good too!
Are we missing Ray Ray tonight??

Observations at half-time:

Leach and Evans will make an impact from week 1. Great pick ups.

McPhee, Kindle, Jones, Kruger continue to impress. Hats off to Ellerbee and McClain as well. Defense seems to be getting it together.

Jimmy Smith isn't playing bad coverage but he is getting schooled by Bowe as to how it works in the NFL. We'll see how quick he learns.

Wow. Cousins IS actually better at G. O line is way improved (but still not where they should be).

Foxworth is not impressing. Got beat on a few plays but Cary Williams is still out playing the others at CB.

C'mon Webb!

Note to Cam: Boldin is NOT the "stretch the field" guy. That would be Evans. I think you are confused. Please snap out of it.

That's counting Joe's kneeldown. It's actually 10 rushes, 54 yards.

Well it's like Pagano said, Cary's problem is he's inconsistent.
That's what I've always said about him. He shows flashes but then he'll get badly beat. I saw that a lot during last years Training camp.

I was hoping he was going to be more consistent.

He's brought pressure on more than one play, and almost blocked TWO punts. He's playing very well, for a 2nd year player who's really a rookie.

I think the good thing so far for us is that nearly every mistake is something that can easily be fixed before the season. We've been this close to having tons of big offensive and defensive plays but with time those will come.

Same here... that last drive was disappointing to say the least.
