Injury Report

12 posts in this topic

I must admit, I am a bit disappointed seeing the amount of guys on the Injury Report for Monday's game. I thought Fabian, Derrick, and Buddy Lee would be back, but now Fabian is OUT and Derrick & Buddy Lee are DOUBTFUL. Not to mention a whole slew of others who were limited this week. On the flip side, seeing almost all of our other starters as Probable IS an encouraging sign, although that's a bad sign for Texans fans B)

i see willis is in full participation wich is awsome. after hearing him say how bad he wanted to play that he had "that ich" i think mcgahee is going to light it up! i wouldnt be suprised if this game would be his best honestly.

On Thursday we had the second longest injury report behind San Fransico. Hopefully this isn't a trend for us.
we have 17 players listed on the report, they have 8. :(
I didn't know Yamon Figurs was Questionable with a Hamstring injury. That's not good.

Their injured guys are not as integral as our guys.
Kelly Greg
Yamon Figurs
D. Williams
Ayanbadejo
Fabian Washington

Wish we had all of guys healthy and on the field. Maybe with an extra day, we can get back a few of these guys. Nevertheless we still have enough healthy players to dominate the Texans.
Now that the Monday nighter is postponed due to damage to reliant stadium maybe we can remove a couple of those names from the injury list
That's the plus side of the game being postponed. We get to rest our guys an additonal day. The down side is that we are still on a high off of game 1, and we cannot take a bye week to disrupt it.

thats exacly what i was thinking at first i was furious to see the ravens game be postponed but now i relize this is a opurtunity for our injured to rest up and at least be able to play in the game if needed.

whats not to like about this? i mean the players get some extra time to rest up and get ready for the game, the whole team gets a chance to rest up and really get 100 percent healthy. This is great opportunity/chance for any and ALL players to get 100 percent healthy, even if some players might say they're 100 percent, those little knicks and bruises...you know, the smaller less noticeable injuries...the one's which just seem to seem smaller and inncocent early on but then later turn in something more severe, yea you know what im talking about..those injuries......They all get the extra time to rest up and heal a little bit more, so that the player can be "that" much healthier come gameday.

I agree. Instead of complaining about what should have been done. We have to live in the moment. We have to look at the assets. We have additional time to rest our players and prepare for the Browns. We have 16 players on our injury report. Many of them are integral parts of our offense.

Indeed, I suppose this MAY be the only good to come out of this, but what if someone tweaks something the week before our original Bye week? Oh well...
