Is having both Dallas Clark and Reggie Wayne on your team dumb? I know your not supposed to do that in fantasy having both TE and WR from same team on your team but hear me out. I feel that theyre really the ones that can do that and get away with it. They got one of the BEST QBs throwing it to them. Their Peytons favorite targets. Atleast one of them will get a TD every game IMO. I mean, Reggie wayne did have an off year, but still had career high in REC. But he didnt have Clark with him. He got more attetion because of it. And sure Clark got injured and we dont know how he will respond yet, but Hes done great in the pass and still has Manning throwing to him. I feel Wayne and Clark compliment eachother perfectly. Plus they have very easy schedule playing titans, texans, jags twice a year. Can I get an opinion on this? I feel like I did really good drafting both.

It's not the dumbest thing you can do, but it's certainly risky.

Conventional fantasy wisdom has always been to handcuff a starting RB to his backup, not two receiving targets on the same team. If you start both in the same week, you're banking on both guys putting up big numbers, which rarely happens since most QBs will stick to their primary target and otherwise distribute the ball elsewhere as he sees fit. Clark and Wayne could be the exception, as they both see the ball pretty consistently from week-to-week, but you should expect other guys to cut into their numbers more than years past as more receiving threats have emerged for Peyton Manning.

If it were me in your shoes, I wouldn't draft both. I'd go for one or the other, but that's only if a great RB is still on the board.

Its usually not preferred but if the team is an offensive juggernaut than it isn't a no-no. That combo is fine IMO. And if they were the best players on my board, I'd probably do it.

These are the combos I would be most willing to accept in order.

Vincent Jackson-Antonio Gates
Reggie Wayne-Dallas Clark
Jennings-Finley

My leagues more of a QB leauge then RB. But at RB I got CJ2K,Turner,Bradshaw. At QB I traded Andre Johnson for Joe Flacco in first round(2nd overall, call me crasy lol.) I also got Vick and Cassel at QB. At WR I got Desean Jackson,Lee Evans,Mike Williams TB,Dez Bryant, Lloyd, and backup TE Grownkowski.
