Where Are You All From?

891 posts in this topic

I am not from Baltimore, however I have been there on vacation before. I am from Cincinnati Ohio. I do not enjoy watching the "pro" football team that plays in this city. I have enjoyed watching the Ravens since 1996. Go Ravens!

That sounds like me.  I am originally from NJ and would visit MD every Summer.  We always took in O's games and hit Little Italy during every trip.  I moved to Jacksonville, FL in 1995.  When both Jacksonville and Baltimore got their teams in 95-96 I made a best efforts to root for both.  Between my good memories on the Eastern Shore, the drafting of Ray Lewis, the trashing of the Giants whom I always hated in the 2000-2001 Superbowl, and my cousin who grew up in Skins territory yet became a diehard Ravens Fan, all influenced my allegiance.  I have taken in Ravens games throughout Florida over past 19 years and met some awesome fans as well.  What really convinced me to join the Flock was the love of the NFL and the players themselves that Ravens fans bring vs. these college first fans down here in the Sunshine State.  Saturdays I may bleed Orange and Blue for my Gators but on Sundays the color of my blood changes to Purple and Black.  I type this from my keyboard in anticipation of tonight's game against the Saints.  Go Ravens!

I live in Milton Keynes, England.

I've never actually met a ravens fan. I got some people into american football, but they became patriots fans. I'm really sorry for making more of them.

Ironic ...................... English becoming Patriots fans,  do they celebrate the 4th of July also?

I'm also a member of the only Ravens Fan Club in the Washington, DC area-Ravens Nest 9 in Bowie, Maryland. However, our membership is dropping and we will have a meeting in October about our future.

Whatever you do, do not show them vids of our secondary masterpiece from yesterday. However, only

Art Donovan  That is Class

Born in Baltimore, lived in Bal Co till I was 18...traveled the world and the SE USA thanks to Uncle Sam and currently live outside Tampa Florida

the Eagles can be a local drawing card now

The Ravens Nest in Bowie folded 6 years ago, I still tailgate with most of them in Lot H before games.

Baldwin, MD. Rural Baltimore County, near Harford County. Nobody recognizes my actually "town" (really just a spread out collection of neighborhoods and farmland with a "town centre" that includes a gas station, a car repair shop, and a post office complete surrounded by farmland) unless they live there. Not too far (maybe 5-7 minutes driving) from Fallston. The air is good, except when you can smell the fresh cow manure, and I love the space.

Silver Spring, MD.

It's annoying, so many damn Redskins fans, that place should be dominated in D.C and Virginia, Maryland is home to the RAVENS!

I was born in Baltimore and then lived in Perry Hall until I was 10. Moved all over after that...

Lived in:

Phillipsburg, NJ

Ocean City, MD

Clarks Summit, PA

Bloomsburg, PA

Ocean City, MD

Doylestown, PA

East Norriton, PA

and now currently reside in Pipersville, PA

My older brother and his wife moved back the Bel Air, MD a few years ago so fortunately I get to visit Ravens country frequently and go to a home game every year. My grandparents and my parents all have houses in Ocean City, MD and have since I was 3 so been able to keep in touch with my Maryland roots pretty well. My moms parents and brother have never left Baltimore. Everyone on both sides of my family was born and raised in Baltimore, but unfortunately most of us have left and dispersed across the country, but it will always be home.

Not enough Ravens fans in this area. It is dominated by Redskins fans.

I'm a converted redskins fan living in Germantown, from Bethesda.

Go Ravens!

Copenhagen, Denmark - where the Ravens also are unappreciated underdogs. Seems to be a universal theme.
Just witnessed my first two live football games this past season. One of them TEN@BAL, it was a fantastic experience!
Definately not that last time I visit M&T and Baltimore, hopefully I can catch a Belicheat/CryBrady loss on our turf before he/they retire(s)!

I'll settle for being the number 2 NFL team in the DMV, next to the Deadskins aka Landover Losers. There are two Ravens bars in the DC area, Mason Inn in the Glover Park section of NW DC and the one I go in Arlington, Rock Bottom in the Ballston Commons Mall, home for 3 years of the DC/NOVA Ravens Meet Up group that meets at the back bar.

The reason there aren't more is probably that you can watch almost every Ravens regular season game on DC TV, due to it being a secondary market.

Best of luck to you, given what is going on in your country. Stay safe and may your nation be autonomous and free.

I have been sentenced to NJ since birth.  Not so bad.  I live in the less polluted and scenic part of the State along the magnificent Delaware River.
