Reading that Ike Taylor broke his thumb, Ben suffered hand and hip injuries, and Ryan Clark has an undisclosed injury.
Wow, interesting. They will probably be ready for Week 1 though.

It doesn't matter, in all 3 games last year we had leads and let them get away from us. This year will be different, we have a better defense, and their OL is worse than ours. I think our offense has many more options than theres.

The Ravens will beat the Steelers with Ben..so all that nonsense can stop. You know the players hate hearing that...

Well it looks like the Steelers have issues on their team as well...I think come week one the Ravens are going to triumph over these bums

I can see many sacks of Ben, and Flacco passing for a couple TDs..and then Ray Rice and Ricky Williams running them down, grinding out yards, running out the clock FTW

It is being said the injuries to Ben and Ryan Clark are "minor."

Though Taylor will probably miss a couple games.

Sad to say... The skins look more refined then the Ravens right now... yikes.
Yeah, they also look more refined than the Steelers. Know why? Because preseason games are totally meaningless.

Its crazy or eerie how similar our teams are, Ravens and Steelers both have O-line problems, both teams stop the run, at times the Ravens have trouble against the pass, but the Steelers really are bad against the pass, they have Ike Taylor and thats it, at least we have depth at CB.

I think we should have beat the Steelers all three times last year, so I know we can beat them come week 1!! We finally got that home run hitter like Mike Wallace aka Lee Evans

its on! its on like donkey kong

Redskins win 16 to 7... Lions destroyed Bengals, 34 to 3 and we lost. Not a good start for the AFC North.

Just letting you guys know, Stallworth was looking good, a lot of middle field catches. 15 to around 30 yd catches. He was getting open and making some diving catches.

Cam you messed up, not letting the man play. Just my opinion.

Let the Redskins bask in this, because in their fan's eyes, they just won the Super Bowl. They already planned the parade and everything.

I plan on tuning into Lavarr and Dukes on Monday at 2. I'm sure they'll be talking about 'did this game matter? because we looked great and beat a Super Bowl participant."

Then their hopes will be crushed again.

I've grown to despise most Redskin fans. Last year after the preseason game between the Ravens and Skins, I literally had kids telling me that the Redskins were better than us because their starters outplayed our starters (Despite the fact our 1's outscored/played them) and that we wouldn't make the playoffs, and they had a great shot at the Super Bowl. :34853_doh:

i agree with that, Stallworth could have been good last year...but they dropped the ball with that one, now lets hope they get Lee Evans right

In most instances, teams that do well in the preseason, dont fare off too well come regular season.

I certainly know the difference.... my point is on fundamentals. Picked up blocks, offensive line shifts, proper check downs , route break offs...

Do I think the Ravens are better then the skins? YUP. No doubt.
Though ill say the Skins played solid... not even taking into account WHO they were playing. That meaningless, they executed a game plan and that's pretty decent for a Preseason opener.

Well, let's face it, the Ravens history of drafting receivers leaves much to be desired.

How can Pittsburgh have a pass catcher wear the number 8?

So then the Skins looked better than the Steelers too, when it comes to fundamentals. Like I said, totally meaningless. The Lions are 11-2 in the preseason over the past 4 years.
