MERGED: Steelers @ Redskins

See? It happens to everyone. Rex Grossman is looking like a great QB and not a guy who fumbled his first snap of the year and gave up 6 points. Against the Steelers, no less.

This is what happens when there's no offseason to go by.

I didn't think we did terrible as some of the threads here would suggest, but I have to say watching the first quarter of the squeelers game made me feel a heck of a lot better about our team. Between Hightower running all over their defense and their O-line looking like bumbling idiots, I'm feeling pretty good about our team.

Grossman just launch a DEEEEEP ball to guess who? Donte' Stallworth for a TD attempt. he had a step or two on his defender but Rex overthrew him. now that is how you use a cat with speed....Cam!

Not to start a new thread but Ndamukong Suh pulled Andy Dalton to the ground who then lost his helmet
Suh is one tough guy, love it

Hell yea! The Skins have been moving the ball on them EASILY. 32 yards for the Steelers at the end of the first quarter? Wow, just wow.

Damn, he did the same to Delhomme last pre-season lol. Yeah it's interesting how the Skins actually look like a decent team with Grossman as QB, and both McNabb & Haynesworth gone. As John Beck played or has it been just Rex Grossman?

On another note, Lions beating Bengals 14 to 3.

With the losses of Starks and Flozell, the squeelers o-line will be even worse than ours this year. The only problem will be keeping Big Ben in check in the passing game and taking him down when we get penetration. Our inability to tackle last night kind of scares me because of Rapthlisberger's slippery nature.

Yeah it looks like the 'Skins are the team to beat!

No. Dare I bring up the '08 Lions?

Okay fine, have your fun, Ravens fans.

not much harder than young imo, we still need to be able to tackle better

Just set this game up to record on NFL Network when it airs, so I can watch this game.

Everyone is projecting the Skins to be the winner of the Andrew Luck Sweepstakes and the Skins are playing like a team who may not be in the running.

If Grossman wins out the starting job, how long will it be until Snyder makes Grossman a $100 Million richer lol.

The Redskins are just preseason champs. Remember last year when McNabb torched us in the second PS game? I don't know if maybe they want to get all the winning out of the way, or if preseason is their postseason, but the 'Skins aren't going anywhere this year.

They'll probably miss out on Luck too with the 2nd pick of the draft! Hilarious!

It's sad that the Redskins have had their 1st stringers in - like Grossman, Stallworth, Moss and Hightower - the ENTIRE first half and it's only 7-7...

You think our OL stinks...man the Steelers line is bad, Ben is gonna be running for his life against us. And they r weak in the secondary so we can pass on them all day.
