hey im making this thread as a counter balance to the 5 million complaint threads up now. Easy enough, just give kudos to where it is due.

I felt Pernell McPhee lit it up, shedding blockers and backside pursuit.

also Tyrod did an excellent job considering the constant the constant pressure I dont blame him at all for the 2 ints

Pollard, Pitta, Kruger, and Kindle really stood out... LaQuan Williams, minus the TD drop, also impressed, albeit against 3rd and 4th string guys... Jah Reid should get more work with the 1's this week v. The Chiefs... Haruki has the edge over Zibby right now, but I think this is Pollard's job to lose.

Pollard looked like a raven.

Dude not only that I'd say he looked like a year 2000 Raven. Nasty.

Can't wait for preseason game #2 with Ricky and Evans out there.

Cary Williams has to be in the DB rotation somewhere. I also thought Art Jones played good with his penetration even though he missed a million tackles!

Leach, Pollard, Evans.

That's a pretty good off season acquisition class. All three should be in line to make big impacts this year.

Hopefully Pollard starts the next pre season game. As always, wasn't blown away by Zbikowski and Pollard is the more experienced DB.

Art jones quickness impressed me , Kruger also impressed me. But both of them have to remember to finish plays and set the edge also for run contain. McPhee looks like he could be a good edge rusher as well.

Not big pollard fan. But he looks ready to make plays via big hits, blitz, and intimidation.

McClain missed some tackles and was beaten on coverage a few times.

Carr well... Smh looked like himself from 2yrs ago..

I didn't notice J.Smith playing ( but he tweeted he got his feet wet) ??

I was looking for C.Brown on defense also.

Kindle was flying around.

I wish we could have seen 5-10 carries for D.Berry and A.Allen.

Jah Reid needs more time with 1s because cousins looked awful

He played a handful of snaps, and recorded a tackle.

Kruger, Bernard, and Art Jones all made some nice plays as did Cary Williams who I think deserves a shot on defense, he's a ballhawking CB

Kruger looked much improved. And I didnt know how fast Leach was, for being that fast and big, hes gonna be dangerous

I actually thought Tyrod didn't look that bad last night after he got comfortable in the pocket. I think with a better performance from the O-Line next game, he would be able to show some better decision making. Kinda reminded me of Vick when Vick was in his early days.

Pollard impressed me, and INT and 2 more passes defensed...sounds pretty good to me, even if it was with the 2nd team defense and offense...

Yeah I def realize they were mostly rookies. But none the less, I still was pleased with what I saw from him, once he calmed down a lil. Cousins was really disappointing for me. He just flat out sucked last night...my personal opinion.

to be honest...

i am watching the game now and i must admit that i am soooo proud to be a Ravens fan! i absolutely love seeing our team on the field! sure, we looked "bad-news-bearish" at times defensively but overall, i believe that we will have another great team to cheer for this season.

Honestly, if Kruger keeps it up, and takes another jump next year, it might be him taking JJ's starting spot, not Kindle. Kruger's improved not only in the pass rush, but he is lightyears better in the run. Kindle seemed to always wanna rush, and not care about the run.

McPhee reminded me of Pryce, not just the number, but the play as well. With the way he got a monster push up the middle and even around the edge at times, he reminded me of Trevor. Arthur Jones, is a freak. He just needs to learn how to break down and make a tackle.

I forgot to comment about Cary Williams, but I think he makes the rotation this year. What do you think Carr's trade value is?

i was watching play by play on preseason live, really focusing on individuals and a couple ppl that stood out were

Justin Boren LG he was solid except he needs more of a pop on run plays but good driving feet

and Anthony Allen pretty much did everything he could have, but really shined in protections this game
