LOVE THIS GUY. Harbs has got to be freakin out - character guy with maturity and skills that complement Boldin.

Tell you what - Joe better get these guys the ball and if that means gettin creative because of the sieve that is our O-iine, so be it. Other guys can do it. Hell Benji's been doin it for years. If I think about it Fitzpatrick did it last year for BUF. There simply are no excuses, O-line included.

So......How many yards do you think Evans' first end around will gain?
Lets just hope that end arounds aren't the only thing he gets this year. Lol

Interesting post from Chris Mortensen's twitter account.

RT @theweathaman: @mortreport what did the #Ravens give up to get Lee Evans >> Waiting to hear. They were talking lineman w Bills.

Obviously we know now we gave up a 4th round pick but we were talking lineman with them too. If I understand it correctly we were talking about trading a lineman to the Bills. I don't think even Ozzie is good enough to trade Cousins away for anything more than a box of donuts. haha

He still has to come in and work hard... Hopefully cam can put him position to succeed.

But the RT position is a real area of concern Cousins looked horrible last night. The O-Line has to get it together. And Flacco needs to finally start getting the ball out of his sooner whether it be out of bounds or to a partially covered WR. Eating sacks isn't the way to do it. Especially when we don't have a proven back up QB
Cousins is DONE in Baltimore. Reid has a chance to improve enough to be a decent RT from the start and a great one down the line but the Ravens have to sign some FA OL help - Flozell Adams and O'Hara/Rabach

I think Evans is an upgrade over Mason because it diversifies our WR core a lot better. Sure he won't have the same output as Mason, but if he comes in and stretches the field it will help us more.

I said this a few weeks ago. But I even like Evans over Floyd. Floyd always worried me as a product of the system and as an injury concern. Evans fits what the Ravens needed.

This move will give Torrey and Doss some time to learn from a good tandem.
I feel the same way.. Although I have a feeling Torrey/Doss will receive a good share of loads this year. IF Cam can bring in plays that can work and if only players can learn the routes. Either way, we needed a veteran 2nd WR, and I hope evans can get accustomed to our system fast.

That we did.....

So, lets say the 4th and 5th are a wash (only for this argument). Still means Boldin was a 3rd, not a 4th.
Yes sir!! A steal at that. He's catching a minimum of 90 balls this year.

I'm excited about this move man...I wonder if he will play next week?
He seems like a very smart player. He shouldn't have a problem picking up the offense ASAP... I could see him going a series or 2 on Friday :)

A lesson to the nay sayers, Ozzie & Co. are watching. Not a bad pick up and only a 4th rounder in return. Nice! Surely more to come, in Ozzie we trust! :baltimore-ravens:

This is a great move for the Ravens Evans provides us with a great veteran presence he will be able to mentor Smith in to a great vertical threat, I also believe Boldin and who who ever is #3 reciever is whether its Doss,Reed, It will definatly help them. Man All we need is to fix the line and get a veteran backup for Joe and All the cry babys can be quiet for once and trust in Ozzie!

Flozell, the overpaid linemen of the century. Rabach didn't pass his physical, I don't know about O'Hara.

Personally I'd just rather give Reid his reps at RT and let him learn as the season goes. I mean he wasn't great at RT but he looked bigger faster stronger than Cousins. No excuses for Cousins, your a vet and you get beat by second stringers. Let the rook take his place.

I gurantee Ozzie can work a fair deal with Flozell Adams. Plus, lets face it, we NEED a LT. Oher needs to get situated being a RT. Only way this O-line can have some stability.

Just saw that Shawn Andrews is still out there. Why isn't anyone picking him up?
Andrews? Okay, lets get him!

they'll be some O-Line cuts by other teams before week one just in case we need to replace our weak links on the O-Line ...was O'Neal Cousins that bad?? i know he had issues but this is hilarious lmao

I find it hard that we would give up a OL guy in this deal. We are struggling with depth.

It makes sense for the Bills because they could arguably have the worst O-Line this year.

Me Likey...............

1.Boldin
2.Evans
3.Doss

TE. Pitta
Not too shabby at all... I am interested to see how Dickson responds this week, assuming he gets back on the field. Pitta looked great out there.

I'm with you on this one. People think Doss is slow, but he isn't he was just slower than Smith. He returned punts and he is faster than Boldin, has great hands, and good size.

WR1 6'1 physical possession guy in Boldin
WR2 5'10 deep threat who runs good routes
WR3 6'2 jack of all trades with great hands and good route running ability

Torrey Smith isn't a bust but having veteran presence out there will take some pressure off the new guys. I wasn't expecting to see Torrey having a big game with the Eagles secondary out there. He did get 3 targets though, Two of which were overthrown by Tyrod.

Thank god Ozzie.
I like to think he had this move planned out for a while without seriously considering starting 2 rook WR's.

Looks good now. Physical slot receivers and 2 speedsters. Spread that field out baby!

It was. I saw him on the sideline and he was so out of breathe. If the Ravens want I'll trade the Ravens my sweet onion chicken terikayi for Cousins. I need an offensive linemen for my intramural flag football team. Ill think about upping my offer with chips AND a cookie along with a drink. But that truly is my final offer for Cousins.

I'm not ready to give up on Oher yet. LT takes some time to develop. Look at D'Brickashaw Ferguson. Took him 3 years at LT to become a dominate linemen. But overall I agree with you. Our O line makes me lose sleep at night
