Very true... he's no prima donna, that's for sure. Can't wait to see him in purple & black. I wonder if Dickson is gonna give up #83... I think Evans would look great in #81.

Boldin?

This may have been the last straw for me. Been a Bills fan since birth but I just can't take the management circle anymore. This will be a huge change in my life because I live and breathe sports and the Bills but I may need to find a new team. I will be leaving the Buffalo area in a couple years anyways so this may be a good time to start following another team.

I would put torrey as #3, and if he does well will get a shot at being #2. David Reed/Doss will be rotated with Q,Evans imo. Laquan will see some ST action.

Awesome news. Can someone tell me why the Bills were willing to trade Evans(for a 4th?!?) in the first place? Steve Johnson is their only established receiver, unless they are extremely satisfied with Brad Smith for some reason. He wasn't even trying to Diva himself out of town, and I don't think their cap situation is horrible. It just makes no sense to me, not complaining though.

I'm typically well spoken and what not but...F*** YES! It's true that Evans' production has declined over the last 2 seasons, and his age could be a concern down the road, as he recently turned 30. However, he saw less and less targets in each of those years and was constantly bracketed in Buffalo, even during the emergence of Stevie Johnson. He likely won't topple the 1,000 yard mark again, but at the least, he'll be a very capable #2. Great move. Except that I was able to snag away Evans for a 5th in our Mock GM Draft. So, you know: -Truth- [1] Ozzie [0] lol

this may be the best group of recievers weve had since we drafted Joe...Boldin and Evans feels better than Boldin and Mason...good luck to Mase though

Exactly, Stevie Johnson blew up last year because no one knew about him, defenses were keying in on Evans the whole time

This is great news. Now only if Joe had time to throw the ball to Boldin/Evans. Let's get this offensive line fixed and we are ready to go!

I would say its not too much of a loss for you guys if you received a 4th rounder. Chad Ocho Cinco, Anquan Boldin, Santonio Holmes were all 4th round trade. Also Bills have steve smith and alot of promising WRs. Its the defense you guys really to work in. And with Marcel Darius in that D' and several key defense draft u guys got, you guys look much better than last year. So keep your hopes alive. You guys will do better this year imo.

Boldin was a 3rd and 4th, FYI

So......How many yards do you think Evans' first end around will gain?
[/quote]
Damnit Fly!! Get outta here with that!

Edit - I say 7 yards ;)

I think Evans is an upgrade over Mason because it diversifies our WR core a lot better. Sure he won't have the same output as Mason, but if he comes in and stretches the field it will help us more.

I said this a few weeks ago. But I even like Evans over Floyd. Floyd always worried me as a product of the system and as an injury concern. Evans fits what the Ravens needed.

This move will give Torrey and Doss some time to learn from a good tandem.

Haha I just added Lee Evans to my fantasy teams, I had some other WRs that had a chance to breakout but Lee Evans will definitely do well here in Baltimore.

50 yards. A crack-back by Q on Polamalu will spring him.

He still has to come in and work hard... Hopefully cam can put him position to succeed.

But the RT position is a real area of concern Cousins looked horrible last night. The O-Line has to get it together. And Flacco needs to finally start getting the ball out of his sooner whether it be out of bounds or to a partially covered WR. Eating sacks isn't the way to do it. Especially when we don't have a proven back up QB

That we did.....

So, lets say the 4th and 5th are a wash (only for this argument). Still means Boldin was a 3rd, not a 4th.

6 yards. Just as much as he will on those island screen passes, with no blockers in front.
