Back on topic, at this point in time, there are no FA's that would actually help the team. McKinney and Starks are terrible tackles, and are probly even worse now that there so overweight. If we were to trade for Samuels or Lee, there would be potential cap issues. At this point, there's not much we can really do. A trade would be nice, but the cap does exist. It's not a myth like some people choose to believe.

Im actually in the Fitness industry... I work to help people ranging from athletes, elderly population who wish to function and move better, and everyday folks who want to integrate exercise into their life... I love my team, lets all just try to be more forgiving of spelling errors and agree to disagree sometimes... Have a good day.

Despite your approval of fan bashing Raven critics who work from home, I do appreciate you at least trying to engage me in the original intent of this thread. I am late responding to you as Ive never been good at backing down... Guess its the spirit in me.

Im not exactly sure how much cap the Ngata deal could free up, but I heard $7million... if the contracts are structured right... We should fit Evans, and a an offensive tackle. McKinney is overweight but he was a beast at one point... Is there anyone else? Oher is hurting us not being on the right side, at least tthat way one side of the line would be strong because as it is now neither side is working out. Matt Birk is on his last year and not 100% Why not let him be a backup, and he could mentor our young guys, or sign Ohara and cut Birk? Why not, they cut Mason, and Heeeeap?

Samuals would require some creative cap management but these holes need to be addressed.

Here my logical thinking:
Eagles do NOT want to trade Samuels. You may say "Oh, they need to make some cap space since they have two 60 million contracts in corners." Samuels is their 1st corner and they have enough cap space to have him hang around for a year. At any chance he would be available next season but getting him will be a 1st and 3rd round pick. If traded, Samuels would want a 5 yr/60 million deal since Aso got that much and Samuels is a quality starter like Aso. I even suspect he would want more since Aso went for the cheap to a team that is playoff caliber. That means the Ravens needs to make a lot of cap space and Ngata resigning would not help much cause Flacco and Rice have expiring contracts next season which prompts the Ravens to cut other players.
Lee Evans is possible trade with the likelihood of losing a 2nd and/or 3rd round pick and he would come in cheap if he believes that he is getting older and wants to have a ring on his finger.
With the recent evaluation of the Ravens Offensive line, Ozzie should sign Mckinney and O'Hara as competition for the O-line to step up.
Of all the decisions you have made for the team, I agree on most except for Samuels since they have a good chance in coming here cheap. Remember, both of the starting Corners were out for the first game. We haven't evaluated our starting secondary yet so don't make too much of a speculation that they suck.

Johnny Knox - He wants to be a starter and he is young so if traded he would want a contract around the vicinity of Devin Hester's (4yr/40mil)

I think we're gonna have to make do with Oher this season. EVERY GOOD left tackle is already signed, a FA LT would be no better than Oher. Personally though, Oher WILL improve, and I don't think those sacks he "gave up" last night were on him. They were a result of team pressure, rather than being beat.

Ohara is also up there in years, that would be redundant. We're not cutting Birk, because we don't have any other quality centers. We have two quality TE's and we have young WRs that will improve. Heap and Mason were expendable, although Heap moreso than Mason.

On the topic of a pass rusher, Kruger, Kindle, Jones, and McPhee proved why we haven't pursued one.
