O-Line: McKinney, Grubbs, O'Hara, Yanda, Oher
Wr: Bouldin, Evans OR Knox
Backs: Flacco, Leach, Rice

D-Line: Osi, Cody, Ngata
LBs: Kindle, McClain, lewis, Suggs
Secondary: Assante Samuals, Pollard, Reed, Jimmy Smith

I mean we are allowed to dream...

1. McKinney could be signed, he is a free agent

2. Samuals could be traded for (a player, or a pick)

3. Evans could be traded for (a player or a pick)

4 O'Hara Could be signed (free agent?)
Birk is in his last year... I think we either cut him or make him a back up

Sign Ngata and make somr cap space ...

No without restructuring and NOT giving the new players (like Osi) new deals there is no logical way to make this happen.

I'll take a realistic shot at it:

OL

Oher, Grubbs, Rabach (backing up Birk), Yanda, McKinnie

WR - Boldin, Evans, Doss
RB - Rice, Leach, Williams
QB - Flacco, Croyle, Taylor
DL - Cody, Ngata, Jones
DB - Foxworth, Smith, Williams, Webb, Carr
S - Reed, Pollard, Zibby, Nakamura

Now that is possible and should happen. One trade with a player under control for 2 seasons affordably, and solid OL depth. Promote Cary Williams, Pollard, and Art Jones

After reading some of these carbon copy threads, I have came to the conclusion that not only are we lucky to have Oz, but some people in these threads should not even dream of being a GM because they would be 100x worse than the raiders and skins combined. Yeah you are allowed to dream but for some of you I will tell ya now. Not going to happen, you really are that bad.

Do whatever it takes would have to include Ray and Ed giving back some money for us to go after more FAs. We just don't have the Cap space.

If the Eagles can sqeeze that roster under the cap then we can pick up a few more players too! I dont care if they sign McKinney or a different OT but we need to fill four major holes!

Here we go again! More Fan bashing? So trading for Evans, Samuals, and signing a Center and Tackle would make our franchise worse than the Raiders and Redskins combined? No sir I believe we would be built to win now, as in this season. YOU are obviously a blind follower who has zero vision.

Eagles contracts were more conducive to the CAP restrictions than ours in THIS specific year. A ton of their big names are still under rookie contracts. DeSean, Maclin, McCoy, etc. They had a lot more wiggle room to work with in THIS year.

Its not like they broke out a magic wand and made a ton of things happen. Its not as simple as pointing to the 'Eagles' and saying, do what they did.

first, how do you propose we fit Asante under the cap? That would be a concern in trading for him. Also, signing and center and tackle wouldn't necesarily make us worse, but signing someone lik McKinney or Starks would do absolutely NOTHING. There are reasons they are FA's. They are severely overweight, and lazy. Didn't one of them weigh in at 386? Neither are good pass blockers. It's not like they'd be upgrades, they're no better than Cousins.

And what he was saying about making our franchise "worse than the Raiders and Redskins combined" What he was saying is that if half the people on this forum was a GM, they're lack of football intelligence would drive the team to the ground, much like Al Davis has done to the Raiders. In other words, some people have no idea what they're talking about.

Not once have I questioned anyone's "fanhood". In fact, you have! Of course we all want to win now, but we're got to either suggest things that simply cannot happen or make no sense.
