Front page says... "Pitta’s Acrobatics Lead Ravens Receivers"

Um, are you aware that Marcus Smith tore it up? Don't play favorites just because you actually know his name now that heap is gone. Also, Harper, full of talent, devoid of skill, why has it taken so long to realize this? Did these people even watch the game?

Announcers were horrid like most home Bmore games. I seriously don't need to hear you whining the entire game about little mistakes. Take a page from John Madden and actually do your job like the non player announcer did. Research the players, give me a story while I am watching about that person who just failed/succeed. Instead of trying to find fault with every gosh darn thing the Ravens do, give them the benefit of the doubt and try to explain why they did what they did. Use highlighters, lots of highlighters too.

John Harbaugh, stop trying to justify every game as a personal quest/challenge. Most of these guys out here are fighting for their lives. Focus on your men gosh darn it. Ellerbe may be special, but they doesn't mean you sacrifice him for your power. Men pick up on subtle stuff like that, and won't follow you when times get tough. You're there to ensure their success, not your own. If you want to make a game special, find it within them.

Game was beyond boring, and you guys had to screw up me watching men fight for their lives.

Hmm...these players that are fighting for their lives, would be on a personal conquest/challenge to make the team, no? Regardless of whether you meant him or the players, maybe he's on a personal conquest/challenge to pick the best players for his team so that we can win?

Pitta had a sick highlight catch though...

The reality is, the majority of the roster is already set. These auditions are only for fringe players fighting for backup slots. The starters are virtually set.

That said, my complaints are with the Eagles-oriented broadcast that I was forced to watch here in Eagles Country. I caught a good chunk of the Ravens-oriented broadcast thanks to NFL.com's Preseason Live, and I had no complaints.

What announcers were you watching? The announcers from Baltimore did a great job calling the game imo! And why does this post seem like something from out the twilight zone??

The conspiracy theorist in me wanted to look at this further, especially since Marcus did not do anything to warrant saying he "tore it up"

Join date: 11/24/08. Marcus was drafted in the 08. He's been posting for roughly 3 years, but why the few amount of posts while visiting frequently? Perhaps Marcus didn't want to raise too many suspicion with providing too many "inside info" maybe.
