I've already seen alot more from Pollard than I do Zbikowski. I love the guy but by the end of this preseason, we'll see that Pollard is the clear cut starter. Nakamura isn't even an after thought.
I disagree. Ithink nakamura did great today. We honestly uave the best Safety tendem in NFL. Too bad our CBs were twrrible today. Chris Carr/Webb were getting ripped by 2nd roster(backups). It was awful.

The Good: McPhee, Pollard, Pitta, LaQuan, Kruger, Parmele, Jones, Reid

The Bad: O-Line, Carr/, McClain

The One that should be cut: Onel Cousins

Marcus Smith must be sweating as I'd say there is talk in of giving his roster spot to LaQuan Williams

And wow, I'd not see Kindle before and he's seriously big. Well more then I was expecting, maybe that was just me
Especially when you consider that Marcus Smith's specialty is supposed to be special teams. The new kickoff rule greatly reduces the need to carry a WR who doesn't provide anything at the WR position and just special teams play.

I think for the most part all of our young up and comers on D looked pretty good(Kruger,Kindle,McPhee,Jones,Cody). The offense looked a little sluggish but Torrey was open down field a few times but either the pass sailed on him or the ball didn't get thrown due to the pass rush of the Eagles. Doss looked poised out there when his number was called. Tyrod looked well scrambling but I wish the Oline would have gave him a little more time to throw down field. The Oline was off rhythm most of the night but that is to be expected early on. I was really impressed with the amount of pressure we were able to get, but the tackling was sloppy. I liked what Laquan Williams was able to do out there as well. All in all a good game!

I know he got on the field for awhile alongside Cary Williams and I know he wasn't thrown at. That should tell us something. If the performance of Carr and Webb tonight is any indication, Smith will be starting week 1.

I don't know why, but I already feel like we're going to lose to the Steelers in week 1. This team just looks like it will play the same ugly game and lose in a grind it out game filled with mistakes in the second half. I'm not really a panicking fan who thinks the season is over, but I don't see how we got better than Pittsburgh at all. The rookies will need experience, and that includes a loss to Pitt in week 1.

He didn't play many snaps and was coming back from a groin injury. Hopefully he'll have a healthy week of practice and be on the field a lot next week. We could really use a big leap from him.

Rewatching the game, and Cam's plays still suck. I've seen two post routes run right at each other, and I'm just like what the heck? Unnecessary cluttering of the field

I liked what I saw out of LaQuan Williams and Paul Kruger. They were pleasant surprises. Next week, I want to see none of Jalen Parmele and all Damien Berry and/or Anthony Allen. They need a chance to prove their rushing skills.

Kindle's size stands out to me too. He's the frame to add at least 10 pounds of bulk.

Great point. On top of that, LaQuan has a lot of experience on special teams himself. I have nothing against Marcus, but I'm rooting for LaQuan to make the club.

He clearly recorded a tackle near the sidelines.

I'm very seriously starting to think that were going to lose to them week 1 at home and beat them week 9 at their house.

NEGATIVE - Flacco cant throw the deep ball because of the O line collapses before he can even set. The O line needs work bad.

POSITIVE - T.Taylor in my opinion needs a little work but impresses me, when the O line collapsed he was mobile and fast enough to get away. The WRs should not give up on a play if T.Taylor is the QB, he keeps the play alive and tries to make something happen but i say The WRers giving up on their running. To me he only threw 1 interception and that was because T.Smith studder step on the throw. The other interception at the end zone was B.S. the Defender only got one foot on the ground when he came down with the ball.

Refs keep screw us, im sorry but its the truth, That false start with the center was total b.s, i had it dvr ed and went back in slow mo and the Center never moved, the only thing you could see is the guy on the left running passed are LT before the ball was even snapped, lol what a joke.

LaQuan Williams looked better than Torey Smith funny because both from Maryland one was undrafted FA and 1 2nd round pick.FA guy looks better. Not good

I was disappointed in Webb. He gets beat to much. I think Cary Williams should start over Webb if it came down to picking one.
I'll wait for another game or two but I would tend to agree with you. A CB tandem of Smith and Williams would be impressive at least from a size and physicality standpoint.

Well to be fair. LaQuan got to work against the deepest guys on their roster. I will say that he seemed to have better presence on the field than Torrey. But I find it hard to criticize Torrey, we couldn't keep the pressure away from ou QBs making it hard for Torrey to do what he does.

Cary deserves a chance imo. He's been real good the past two years.

Webb's getting burnt a bit too much for my liking

If Dickson is the better TE, and Pitta looked great, then it is scary to think what Ed can do. With how good Kruger, Jones, and Cody did, our “moutains", could be powerful. The arson we couldn't run the ball is because of there Elite DL.

Not to take anything away from Williams, because he relatively well, but he was going against borderline NFL talents. Smith lined up against legitimate NFL players. Plus, he only had two targets to the four LaQuan saw.

Smith kept playing into the 2nd half well after the top corners left the game. So maybe he went up against 3rd stringers as opposed to LaQuan's 4th stringers but Smith is slated to be a starting WR.

I gotta say it was nice to see Torrey Smith break away from Amougha on the screen pass to Rice for a nice gain. It's not all about the receptions sometimes. He had the so-called best CB in the league beat.

True. He looked overwhelmed tonight. I doubt he's the first WR to struggle in his first pre-season game though. He has at least more games to bounce back. We'll see if he does.

With Doss, LaQuan and Harper getting screens, you'd think Cam would have called one to Torrey. For whatever reason, he didn't.

Ease up on the Torrey Smith expectations. The wide receiver position takes the longest to develop because of how much is timing oriented and he has had 11 or 12 days to develop a chemistry with two qb's he has hardly thrown with.

I saw at least one throw where Taylor overthrew him. And its tough with the o line struggles and the best qb doesn't play very much. Let's see how the rest of the preseason pans out
