He moved very well out there tonight. It sucks he went down with an injury. Is there any word on his status? Looked like he hurt his leg on the replay but he didnt seem to have a problem walking off. Maybe just the wind knocked out of him?

I liked what I saw from Damien last night .

He can play in this league for sure even though he dropped a TD last night.

Hes a keeper

Berry looks to have decent hands ( besides the dropped TD) and he's elusive in space. He might have a shot. He seems a good bit faster then any of the RB's on the roster right now...including Ray Rice.

I've been hearing Berry has pretty bad hands actually. Many people say he's been plagued by drops

I saw him make a few drops in practice last Saturday + the drop yesterday. It could hinder him from making the team if he doesn't shore it up in the next few weeks. They want him to be able to make plays with his hands and use his speed.

I think he will be fine. I really thought he was concussed after he gimpily walked away. But, since he tweeted and didn't refer to his injury, I am also assuming he is fine.

I agree this guy is a dynamic playmaker who we need to keep!

He definitely looked better than Allen. He looks really good in that 23 jersey too, I must say. I would really love to Stuff him on the Roster because I think he has LOADS of talent. He's a little raw and can work on his hands a bit, but he's got a quickness that you can't teach. Rice, Williams, Berry. Liking it! Sorry Jaelen!

It's Jalen, and he played great last game, I'm not sure how you can discount him from this team. He has been with the club for 3 years now, so there is obviously something that they like about him. I don't understand the infaturation that people have with rookies.

Okay. Sorry for the SP error. Second. I wouldn't say great. he had a few good runs but you can't call his performance great. None of the backs looked "great". Parmele has been with this team for 3 years, you're right. Has he Produced outside of being a good kick returner at times? No. Last year Parmele was handed the rock more than most backs in the Pre-season and failed to produce. The stats don't lie. The "infatuation*" that people have with rookies is simply seeing upside and potential.

Jalen's role with the team had been as a special teamer ( kick returner and a gunner on coverage). While he did have a yr with a great return average he never made game-breaking returns on the opponents side of the field or for td.
I don't have anything against Parmele but I'm hoping Berry can impress the coaches enough to make the team...

Also Berry played cornerback for a few season at "The U", so he could be a developmental Safety ( although I never read anything about this) he has played the running back position for long.

But he definitely has talent, he held that position down at Miami over some talented backs

Rookie running backs are also different than any other position because they can make an instant impact running the ball in the NFL. Rookie running backs mainly struggle in pass protection.

Infatuation with rookies and free agents occur because when you see players play for so long and the improvement is minimum, or production isn't on the up rise. Then you need to see if someone else can produce better because of the opportunity.
- Good example could be with our current O-Line seeing Cousins struggle as he did was very dishearting because he has been with the club now for a few years has seen action in regular season games but played worst than rookie linemen it leaves one left wondering if he's playing like this, then a rookie must be capable of the equal or better play.
