Actually, now that you mention it, I am SHOCKED Ray doesn't get more hate on these boards. We'll bash just about anything else, but Ray's off-limits somehow.

Not that I'm against it, it's just curious to me.

(Also of note: The OP is bad at ideas.)

You know, we did just fine without Ray last week... We actually did better with him out than we did with him in... Seems to me we need more youth at the position. It's worked for WR and TE. No offense to Ray, but he is getting old! Actually yes offense, because he may be the one who's been infecting the rest of our team with the age virus! That's right! Not only has he been making our team age, many of the players around the league who he keeps in contact with have reportedly been "age-ing" as well! Finally, the source of our team's weakness! Please keep Ray from infecting the rest of our team by cutting Ray Lewis ASAP!

Come on, +100 rep!

-104, this is great!!!

Ozzie's a great GM, don't ever doubt him. Have patience, In Ozzie We Trust.

That is a new record! Old one got up to -103 and is now rotting away after being shut down.

This fool should face public humiliation by having his 100+ negative reps attached to his name. Doubters must pay the price for spreading ill-conceived rumors about the Great Wizard. Do it mods!

Actually, two years ago, when Ray did his free-agency circuit, prior to re-signing, there WAS some bashing here.

It really has been a perfect off season (draft/fa included) and I am 99% satisfied. I would of loved to have Josh Wilson but it seems he rather be a Skin but if we locked him down I would be getting Ozzie tattooed on my face.

I love how everyone is bashing the OP now, when half the forum was whining about Ozzie 2 days into the offseason.

I was thinking this same thing, half the people that are breaking their arms patting Ozzie on the back are right aboard the ship again, it is ridiculous. I think bashing Ozzie or Ray should come with a one week band so you can go back and watch a few seasons and educate yourself because clearly you are a moron for doing it in the first place.

Right about now I think a lot of people who were coming down on Ozzie leading up to the preseason games, and especially after the first one, are starting to feel sorry. I'll admit I wanted to bring in a vet CB or pass rusher, but the emergence of these young guys makes me feel pretty good heading into the season. Even the offensive line seems to be pulling it together with the treat of the powerful Pittsburgh pass rush in week one. Maybe Joe lit a fire under them so he wouldn't spend all day on the run from James Harrison.

I can't believe this is actually a "hot" topic lol Some fans expressed their concerns about our lack of activity during FA. As did I. I don't think most went so far as to bash Ozzie in this fashion. My big thing was if we weren't doing anything immediate, why did we cut productive vets so fast? And it is still a question I have, though with Pitta stepping it up and Evans here, I think we did upgrade on both counts. No offense to Heap or Mason, who both gave us everything they had each time they took the field. It was just time I guess. I think it was a knee jerk reaction to those cuts though that made people nervous. And then, the O line disaster of the first preseason game. I don't think you can blame some for being nervous at that point. This post went beyond that though.
