Who Is The Best Raven?

19 posts in this topic

when they line up on the field September 11th against the Steelers, which Raven will be the best player on the field? I know this is a little subjective, but eliminate past performances and focus only on this season

I'd say Haloti.

We have yet to see him operate at his new weight, but I can only imagine he'll improve, specifically as a pass rusher. That's just scary.

I'm hoping to see some double Ray action... Ray Rice especially, since Lewis is never a disappointment.

Ray Lewis. Not a fan of his, but he will ALWAYS be the best Raven.

Excuse me while I go puke now. ;)

Opening day against the Steelers no other player can match Terrell Suggs. He's done the most against the Steelers than any other Ravens player I've seen recently and his passion is unmatched. Unleash the beast!

The best player will probably be Ed or Ngata. The best performer will be Suggs. As everyone has said he plays like a man possessed when playing against the steelers. Suggs in the 08 playoffs was one of my favorite raven player performances ever.

Flaccos gunna need to be. Hes never been good against the Steelers. And for me, that all he has to prove. Is how to read an elite D. He's done the rest. And theyre corners are slow so hopefully Torrey can get behind Ryan Clark and Ike Taylor

Haloti Ngata is currently the best Raven. When you can dominate an offensive line the way he does, it makes your defense so much better. Who knows if Ray would still be playing if not for Ngata? Ngata has much responsibility for the fact Ray is relatively injury free. Even with the weight loss, he is still a mountain of a man. His pass rush WILL improve with more quickness, and he's simply so big that losing 20 pounds won't hurt against the run.

The beast Haloti Ngata will get 3 sacks and stop Mendenhall from getting more than 3 yards.

wow, is that before or after Ngata wakes up on Gameday :P

Haloti Ngata is the best player on the Ravens' roster right now, no question. Ray Lewis and Ed Reed are both historic players, but Ngata is younger and healthier than either of them, and none of the offensive players is that good. Ray Rice or Ben Grubbs is probably the best player on the offensive side of he ball.
