Draft And Free Agency

So now the free agent frenzy is pretty much finished, with most of the big names signed, im asking do you prefer the regular offseason where you can sign free agents first then draft, or was this offseason better where you draft first then fill gaps with free agents.


I think i prefer it the way it "accidentaly" happened this year. It means you can really go after that stud guy in the draft no matter your glaring needs as you can always fill them later, whereas before it seemed to be, you go after the stud free agent and draft need, (although not always the case).

It make sthe draft a litlle bit unpredictable as its not clear to see a teams needs as they havent dipped into the free agent market..

And then when the free agency begins it seems to cause a real flurry as your signing for need, rather than want, and that lead to teams throwing money round before everyone is signed..

Its added a new exciting demension i think...
