Hate to lose even if it is pre-season. But, oh well at least we know what areas need correction now... let us wait and see

Ozzie will take lemons and make lemonade!!! this roster will improve as week 1 gets closer
Even if we can fill some of the holes, it would be very fruitful. I'm really worried about the O-Line. We do need Birk back, because he's good at directing the line movement. But if he gets injured, thats a real problem. Mattison struggled with 3rd teamers.

Does anyone know if Max Starks the former tackle for the Steelers signed anyway yet? We should pick him up if not. Our pass protection was absolutely horribly atrocious. 6 sacks!

LaQuan Williams played very well!!!!!!!!!!!!1
His stock definitely rose. He's been playing well in camp as well. One more good showing and he could very well make this team.

Very aware.

From this game I take this:

I think we will be alright at TE.
I think Kindle will become the rusher we all believe he can be.
I think Pollard will be our "hair ball" (as fly likes to call him)

I think Williams may be a very strong CB for us.
Doss looks pretty good.
We seem pretty set at RB.

And we need to have these guys chasing chickens around at practice so they learn how to run their man down and TACKLE.

this game can be summed up in two statements... better coverage, and better O line work... we can apply pressure but cant tackle and that allows someone to find a hole in our coverage, hence big throws down field... work on that and the secondary looks great... 5 for 7 for rice... o line needs to improve its strength and hold people back.. saw Yanda 5yards down the field from a rice run... we know he is doing his job... Cousins at any position on the oline is a joke... Reid looked really good, hopefully he gets the nod to start next game..

Getting the INTs out of the way early?

Soooo... QBs only are able to throw a certain # of INTs, and if uses his INTs up tonight...??? :P

that comment implied getting over the nervousness and jitters of playing in your FIRST nfl game! but you knew that bruh! :croc:

Even he had 2 INTs Taylor was great in his first NFL Game!
Looking forward to seeing his improvement next friday. He should get a ton of playing time.

It looks like the Ravens will send Hunter back to PS. Doesn't look like he'll be getting any playing time in PS.

Just wondering how much longer this has to go on before some of you stop muttering "In Oz We Trust" over and over again.

I like LaQuan. I think he would also be a key special teams contributor. He's very good after the catch.

I DVR'd this game. I'm a sick man because I'll probably watch it at least another two times this week. But I will pay more attention to individuals.

But I am turning on the replay now.

everyone has to stop over reacting its only the 1st preseason game everyone is gonna play bad
That's weird, cuz the Eagles didn't seem to play all that bad, and it's their 1st preseason game too.

this Offense needs to be addressed...any wide recievers stand out to you?? i like tandon doss but tory smith's stock has lessened in my opinion after i saw the scrimmage and tonights game...i dont wanna say he sucks but man...

Who is our new O-line coach? His obviously not doing the right job. Oniel Cousins was bad, but he looked much worse. Oher production got worst too. Not to mention, every LT/RT were not starter material.

Tough night. Hope this isn't a view into the rest of the season. There's lots of holes in the offensive armour. Lots of kinks to work out. But it is pre season. Thankfully, just pre season. Time to regroup, review the films and start jettisoning the weak. We saw much tonight that should get the "cut-ball" rolling. Don't waste time on the projects as this season is just too close to starting. Move fast and move on. Above all, remember only 11 players on the field for each team. Not 12 there, Ravens!!! That is a penalty as you found out twice tonight!

Its just a preseason game of course we would want them to win but its not the regular season the offensive line is probably not going to play at there 100% best

I've already said I expected Ryan Bartholomew to be ahead of Mattison by week 1. Ryan didn't get a snap at Center tonight, as Barnes was the backup, but he played pretty well at Guard.

I'm going to make a prediction, it's a pretty bold one so look out. Between now and the next (pre) game multiple threads will be started to debate whether or not letting go of Derrick Mason was a mistake.

like i said, torrey was a one trick pony in college... the next Donte Stallworth.. run downfield and hope the guy covering you is slower... Doss on the other hand can run downfield and run across the middle.. just very explosive no matter how you use him... could very well beat out Smith for gametime opposite of Boldin..
