From rookies in their first preseason game after only 12 practices? You're going to be disappointed a lot in life.

I think his job might be in serious jeopardy if we can find another OL somewhere.

I hope his job is in serious jeopardy, period.

This is "maybe there's an UDFA available" territory.

Some good things to work off of. Some bright spots in terms of players. We do have some holes yet to fill and have plenty of things to work on in practice.

Well I think it's still early. That and our O-Line was...not there. I'm sure we'll make adjustments. Look on the bright side: Kruger gets to embarrass Gaither and we'll see Leron McClain in the 2nd half next week. I also forgot to mention I liked Art Jones. Not too too bad. This lockout really messed things up. And I'm not sold on Cousins either. Reid had a false start, but that's to be expected. I think he could be solid. Just not Cousins. Oh and I can't stand this new kickoff. It really takes away from the point of Special Teams. I know it's for player safety, but there are going to be a lot of touchbacks this year. Not many more swell Jermaine Lewis or David Reed returns.

I didn't see much of Reid other than the false start. How'd he do?

Had a little trouble in pass protection, but good otherwise

Shame that we lost. But we did get to see a sliver of excellence in Tyrod Taylor on the last drive. He couldn't finish, but it was a great effort. Hopefully, Harbaugh and Cam can help turn Taylor into the beast of a backup that he can be. Didn't see as much as Torrey as I would have liked. Actually, I didn't see any Torrey at all. Pitta impressed me, and Doss did too. On defense, Paul Kruger, Sergio Kindle and Arthur Jones all had nice play and I look forward to seeing more from them next week against Kansas City.

If I can take anything away from this game, it is that the Ravens will go 0-16 and the Eagles will go 16-0.

Seriously though, a lot of promise from this game. Kindle, Kruger, Art Jones, Pitta, and Cary Williams all look like contributors. The lockout certainly made everybody look rusty. 12 days of practice will do that.

Kruger looks good as a OLB with the occasion hand in the dirt. He looks more athletic and explosive.
